The words received, passed on to someone else.

"Isn't working behind the scenes cool?"

The night my daughter said that.

I never imagined that those words would go on such a journey.

When I published this article,

many people sent warm words to my daughter's dream.

Each and every comment,

my daughter read with a look of slight embarrassment, yet she was clearly happy.

"I can't believe I'm getting this much support."

Watching her expression,

my heart was full.



I was going to say to my daughter,
"You had your dream supported, didn't you?"

But that wasn't it.

It was different.

Perhaps it wasn't just my daughter
who was supported,
but me as well.

A few days after spending such a warm time together,

there was another
unforgettable event.

After finishing reading Tabi-san's article,

my daughter, who was reading it beside me, said quietly.

"It's tough, but I've reaffirmed that the people working hard at it are cool."

And then, she continued, looking a little shy.

"My feelings weren't wrong after all."

"Because they are people who can be this kind to others.

I really want to do that kind of work."

Hearing those words, I thought to myself.

I had thought that words were things to be delivered.

But it seems I was wrong.

The words received,

grow within someone,

become new words again,

and are passed on to the next person.

That day,

thelittle dreammy daughter spoke of,

encountered many kind words,

and became a little stronger.

And so, I found myself wishing for this.

I hope this exchange of words,

within my daughter,

within me,

and with Tabi-san,

those who left comments,

and those who read them,

somewhere in each of our hearts,

someone's words,

might gently nudge someone forward,

forming such a small circle, I hope.

That is why, even today,

I am writing words.

Not to change anyone,

but to take the feelings that have always been inside someone,

"It's okay just as you are."

and write words that can gently embrace them.

And so,

May thosewords travel to someone else once more,

and become a new story.

There is nothing that would make me happier than that.

The words received,

today as well,

may be becoming a new story in someone's heart

right now.
