Dropped off in an Indian town! Stalking an "old guy" in search of food
ビリヤニという料理を知っているでしょうか？
インドカレー屋さんで見かけても、
カレーを頼んでビリヤニを頼んだことはないのではないでしょうか？

あなたもビリヤニを崇拝したくなるはず！！Biryani is an Indian royal dish.
Spices, rice, and meat are layered in a pot and steamed slowly.
Because of this,
at the bottom of the pot sits rice that is packed with the umami of the meat and the aroma of the spices.
You can feel the aroma of various spices all at once,
and enjoy fluffy, highly fragrant rice.
It is a very luxurious and supreme dish.
I was hungry, but I didn't know where anything was.
So, I stalked an old guy who was walking in front of me.
and his way of walking was sturdy (lol).
After walking aimlessly following the old guy,
I finally arrived at a restaurant!!
An encounter with "Biryani," a royal dish that tempts spice fanatics
スパイス狂でも何の香りかわからないほどの複雑なスパイスの香りに、
お腹を鳴らしながら入店。At first, I thought about eating curry.
However, the menu had "Biryani".
Actually, to my embarrassment, I have only ordered Biryani at an Indian curry restaurant once.
Since then, I haven't had many opportunities to encounter Biryani.
But for a spice lover, Biryani is a must.
To fully enjoy authentic Indian Biryani, I ordered "Biryani".
Whoa~~~~
It's here!!!!
Long live spices!! "The taste is infinite!" Biryani tasting
I place the Biryani on a banana leaf,
and while changing the flavor by mixing in Salan (the orange stuff) to add spice flavor, and the yogurt-based
Raita (the white stuff) to soften the kick, I eat it.
ビリヤニは一人前の量が多め。
だから、添え物で味を何倍にも複雑にしつつ堪能。If your tongue gets used to the kick of the spices,
or if you want to make it a bit milder, use Raita.
If you want to increase the kick, mix in Salan and eat it.
I think most restaurants have soy sauce, pepper, vinegar, etc., on the side.
On the other hand, in India, it was cardamom, mango curry (?), greens paste, etc.
Adding a little changes the flavor, and if you mix several, it becomes yet another different dish.
Spices give food infinite flavor.
スパイスが料理を、珠玉の一皿へと仕立て上げる！
スパイス万歳！！！
First, I enjoy the fluffy, loose rice, followed by the refreshing yet spicy kick of the spices. The rice has fully absorbed the umami of the meat. I enjoy the texture of the cashews.
The meat, needless to say, is fall-off-the-bone tender.
The refreshing scent of herbs resets the palate, and I just can't stop eating.
When I've eaten about half, I mix in the raita and salan to change the flavor.
Nooooo!!
It has become a completely different dish.
In other words, the flavor is infinite!!!
So, what does it taste like, you ask?
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious!
The checkout is so fast! I'm still eating!! And can you eat that mysterious rice??
By the way,
when I stopped eating after finishing about 3/4 of it,
they asked if I was ready to pay (lol).
That's too fast! I still have 1/4 left, don't I!
Let me take my time!!!
ふぅ…Just as I finished my meal and took a breath, the bill arrived (lol).
I told you, that's too fast!
There were over 6 staff members in one restaurant area.
They refill water, take orders, and handle the checkout.
But the size of the restaurant is about the same as a Saizeriya.
Having more than 6 people is way too many (lol).
But thanks to their lightning-fast bill, the turnover rate of this restaurant is incredibly high.
食後、つまようじと米のようなものが出てきた。
この米のようなものは、なんだろう？
ただの装飾かもしれない。
硬いかもしれない。
芳香剤かも知れない。
だが、おかしい。
なぜ装飾や芳香剤にスプーンがついているのだ。
おかしいぞ！！(p_-)So, I gathered my courage and took a bite.

[Short Story] No passport needed, no receipt, and the amount increases by asking!? The "loosey-goosey currency exchange" at the top of the stairs
After enjoying the biryani, Mura-kun goes out for a stroll.
There, he attempts to exchange currency.
Here goes! (; ･`д･´)
両替所を発見した！！
Now, as for where the currency exchange is,
it's at the top of these stairs!
いかにも怪しい（笑）A currency exchange where you can't see inside from the street, and on top of that, you have to climb narrow, steep stairs.
I feel like I'm entering a somewhat dangerous place...
When I climbed the stairs, there was a room about the size of a luxurious toilet stall.
And what took place there was...
Currency exchange without a passport.
( ,,`･ω･´)ﾝﾝﾝ？Usually, presenting a passport is mandatory when exchanging money.
But here, I was told it wasn't needed.
怪しいぞ、ますます怪しい…!!!I checked the rate just in case, and since it was a more reasonable rate than at the airport,
I had them exchange it.
By the way, the boss who handled it was talking on the phone while exchanging the money.
Who on earth are you???
Are you running a currency exchange as a side hustle?

もちろんレシートなんてものはない。In other words, a super rare currency exchange spot!!
Mura-kun, it doesn't end with just getting the money exchanged.
