Watch out for gaps!

Nocturnal cockroaches move around more aggressively than you might think after people have gone to sleep. Cockroaches that love gaps use organs called antennae and cerci to feel the slightest breeze, and they skillfully enter homes by finding the tiny gaps through which they can invade.
Please assume that even in a clean, newly built house, there is no such thing as a house without gaps.The space under the front door, mail slots, piping under the kitchen sink, tears in screen doors, under the floor, ventilation fans, washing machine piping, and air conditioner piping are the main entry routes for cockroaches. They can also travel through the hollow spaces inside walls from under the floor. Even large adult smokybrown cockroaches can skillfully enter if there is a 5mm gap.
Check the gaps in your piping and seal as many gaps as you can. However, we do not recommend trying to eliminate gaps so thoroughly that you seal up vents, as this makes it easier for other insects and mold to breed.

Watch out for hitchhikers!

Also be careful of "cockroach hitchhikers" when bringing in shoes that were drying or flowerpots that were left outside. Before bringing them into the house, check to see if any insects are attached. Also be careful when bringing in "leave-at-door" packages!

How to keep cockroaches out of your home ~ Two recommended products!

A common question is, "Won't placing Combat outside actually attract even more cockroaches to my house?", but you don't need to worry because it won't attract cockroaches from all over the neighborhood. Cockroaches passing nearby will eat the Combat before entering the house and die after they are satisfied.
Also, there is another common question: "If I leave Combat out for more than a year, won't the chemical wear off, leaving just 'food' that might actually increase the number of cockroaches?", but there is no need to worry. The effectiveness of the active ingredients is stable. However, after more than a year, the Combat will lose its flavor and they will stop eating it, so please replace it with a new one.
