Good posture, lighthearted spirit
Days when I feel so exhausted
that I wonder if gravity has gone wrong.
On days like that,
I feel like my face is about to look down,
but I dare to lift my gaze and walk with my chest held high.
It's strange how just a little posture
can make my heart feel a bit more settled.
What kind of posture are you walking with today?

My child can't go to school,
work is busy,
and the housework is piling up...
Honestly, it's a day where both my heart and body are exhausted.
On days like that, I dare to straighten my posture and walk.
Proudly.
Though it's a lie to say I feel like a model.
Because I'm tall, if I leave myself be,
I feel like I'll hunch over right away.
But there's almost nothing good about being hunched over.
My breathing gets shallow, and my mood sinks even lower.
Besides, a version of me looking down
surely doesn't look cool, right?
So I hold my chest high, take steps as large as I can,
swing my arms as much as I can without being embarrassing,
and keep my gaze straight ahead.
I wonder if I look arrogant to those around me.
Well, I've already factored that in.

#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout
Don't let your heart get too tense.
Keep it light and breezy.
There are times when things are tough, because we're human.
From my straight-backed posture,
I imagine my tough feelings fizzing away.
I walk with that image in mind.
This is definitely a case of
being the type to start with the form.
"I'm doing my best," "I'm doing fine," "I'm here."
I think I'm expressing those feelings through my posture.
So, if you're feeling exhausted too,
try holding your chest high and stepping forward.
A slightly longer stride than you feel like taking is good.
Let's try swinging our arms lightly, too.
It's frustrating to lose just by your gaze, isn't it?
So, let's walk looking straight ahead.
Even if your steps are small,
as long as you're moving forward, that's fine.

Alright, tomorrow is another day to quietly look straight ahead.
If I stumble along the way...
A little fall is just part of the charm.
Once I stand back up,
I can just think, "Alright, I can still walk."
No one is watching, and even if they are, I don't care.
Even if they see me, everyone forgets right away anyway.
Little by little,
if possible, with a cool posture,
and a lighthearted spirit,
let's try moving forward again today.
