Organizing and Recording, My Planner

Last year was the first time I didn't have a planner,
and I kept my schedule on my smartphone.

But... it seems it didn't suit me💦

Last year, I started doing more and more of what I wanted to do,
and while my schedule did fill up,
it was still at a level I could manage with my own memory,
so the smartphone schedule was just a supplement.

But...

This year, that's impossible!

My schedule is so complicated,
I felt a real fear that I might mess something up.

On top of that, I wanted a place to organize my thoughts and
a place to center myself.

So, this is the article I wrote about the joy of getting one.

People who are commonly called "morning people"
apparently open their planners every morning to organize their tasks for the day
or write down their feelings.

As for me... I'm not active in the morning, but
I do open it about three times a day.

I sometimes use it for notes during my main job,
but if anything, I use it for other things.

In the second half of this year, my schedule for seminars at the NPO
was quite chaotic (lol),
and my Zentangle activities were also mixed in.

It overlapped with a period of an extremely packed schedule at my main job,
so I started to lose track of whether I was acting as my professional persona
or my true self, and I had to sort it all out.

Also, something I'm valuing this year is...

A record of myself.

It's not just about my physical condition, but
I write down, even if it's just a short sentence,
how I felt about what happened that day.

By doing this,
I discovered that even if the same event happens again,
having a record of the changes in my emotions
helps me confirm my direction.

For example, since I can write my time schedule on the left side,
things like seminars and talk events
are clear at a glance.

I draw a line about a third of the way across on the right side,
and write my daily emotions and article logs on the left.
It's not just positive things,
I write down my raw, unfiltered emotions.

In the space on the right,
I jot down things that come to mind or things I've learned.
Since this sometimes becomes the basis for future note articles,
it also serves as a notebook for ideas (lol).

I don't make a rule that I must write every single day.
I try tocapture the momentsthat feel right.

Even when I do write, I avoid spending a long time on it.
(Especially on the left side of the right page)
because I want to record the freshness of the moment.

Though, when I'm jotting down inspirations or things I've learned,
I sometimes spend a good amount of time staring at it.

A single planner becomes the foundation for my actions,
a guide, and a way to check in with myself.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's good because I write by hand,
but it's interesting because I can see my emotions
in the messiness of my handwriting at the time.

Come to think of it, I don't draw as much as I thought I would.
Maybe it would be nice to draw
little tangles to match my mood 😊

Ah!

There is one drawing I do consistently!
It's pretty much the same thing every month.

A mushroom drawing appears only on the first day of my collection period.
👇 The bottom right is a close-up.
See? There's a mushroom, right? (lol)

Because it'scollection weekand I can't forget that.

A mushroom that sprouted in my planner
#WhatIsThisStory

To keep myself moving forward steadily,
to make sure I enjoy myself to the fullest,

by using my planner in a good way,
my posts and activities become more fulfilling ✨

This is important, so I'll write it again.

In my planner, a mushroom appears about once a month.
