I'm watching it and crying again. Lately, my family doesn't even say "You're watching it again?" anymore (laughs).
What is this healing feeling?
I'm currently writing my thoughts on episode 5.
The previous thoughts, number 28, ended with Miyabi-chan(Hana Sugisaki)receiving a call that the Moyamoya disease patient, Chief Priest Narumi(Hiroki Miyake)whom she is scheduled to operate on, is complaining of numbness in his right arm. When she rushes over, Narumi-san replies, "I ended up chanting sutras." And then, the sight of Narumi-san's disciple, Hekicho-san(Ritsu Otomo)politely bowing his head and saying, "Please take care of the surgery tomorrow"...
A shichirin on the rooftop
Now, changing the scene... to the hospital rooftop.
The hospital rooftop.
It's a rooftop that often appears in hospital dramas, but I often hear in "drama tropes" (is there such a word? 💦💦) that in real hospitals, unless it's designed as a garden for walking, you can't actually go out onto a rooftop like this.
I feel like I've written this before (it's already been 9 months since I started writing thoughts for #01, so my memory is a bit shaky 💦), but I think medical dramas often have locations where you can see the ocean from the rooftop because if they only filmed inside the hospital, it would just be white walls and the visuals would tend to be monotonous. Sometimes the hospitals are surprisingly modern and beautiful.
"Unmet" is no exception; they are particular about their locations and show us beautiful visuals within a range that doesn't feel unnatural for a hospital drama.
But this rooftop really is just a normal rooftop. That's what's good about it.
