Essential items for sign language interpreters: Thermos water bottles for quick hydration

When I go out for sign language interpreting work, I always bring a water bottle.

During interpreting, I get thirstier than I expect. A water bottle that allows me to drink whenever I need to is a very welcome companion for a sign language interpreter.

Drink immediately with one push

I use the "Thermos Vacuum Insulated Straw Bottle 360ml Light Green, Cold Insulation Only, FKA-350 LTG."

The lid opens with one push, and I can drink directly from the included straw. There is no need to twist off a cap or tilt the bottle significantly.

In sign language interpreting settings, there are times when you cannot spend much time hydrating. Being able to take a quick drink is very convenient.

The peace of mind of being able to drink anytime

If you have a water bottle, you can hydrate at your own pace, adjusting to break times and the surrounding situation.

Just having the peace of mind that I can drink whenever I need to makes it easier to focus on my work. Since it is for cold drinks only, I am also happy that I can carry cold beverages with me.

Useful even when offered a drink

Sometimes, clients kindly offer me a drink.

Of course, I appreciate the gesture. However, depending on the situation, there are times when I want to politely decline. In such cases, if I have my water bottle, I can naturally say, "I have brought my own."

My water bottle is useful not only for hydration but also in these kinds of situations.
