Announcing the winning entries of the "#ToMeTheDayIBecameAMother" submission contest held by IISM and note!
We collaborated with "IISM", a web media outlet featuring many active culinary experts such as Ryuji, Koh Kentetsu, and Kaoru Ariga, for the essay and column submission contest "#ToMeTheDayIBecameAMother".
During the submission period (10/17–11/16), we received 2,465 entries. Thank you very much for your many submissions. As a result of the final judging by the IISM editorial department, 6 winning entries have been selected.
In this article, we will announce the winning entries and introduce the general comments from the IISM editorial department.

General comments from the IISM editorial department
The entire editorial department is truly delighted to have received a number of submissions that exceeded our expectations.
We took the time to read every single piece that reached our editorial department.
We selected the winning entries based on what we felt we wanted to share with as many people as possible, but every piece submitted was filled with warmth and sincere thoughts. In particular, we were moved time and again by the irreversibility of parenting and the gaze directed at moments that will never return.
There is a unique story for every person in parenting, and all of them are precious.
We believe once again that this realization is exactly what we at IISM wanted to convey.
