Experiment Report / The Story of Having Gemini (My Manager) Create an Instruction Manual / Extra Edition Diary / Q&A with AI / The Manager's Impressions Hit Home /
(Updated 3/24)
On a whim, I decided to ask Gemini (hereinafter referred to as "Manager") to
create an "Instruction Manual for Me."

"Let's try an article different from my usual essays"
"That sounds interesting"
I'm writing this article with that feeling in mind.
As a premise:
・I had the Manager read my background, my past essays, and my profile text.
・I asked questions as they came up, instructing it to provide content that could be introduced to a third party.
I wonder what will happen just from this?
I feel like I'm excited for the first time in a while.

Here are the results of an experiment conducted 80% for fun by an over-40-year-old who is a complete novice regarding AI.
(All the text is pasted exactly as the Manager output it.)

📘 Hekutaro's Instruction Manual: An "Observation Record" of Someone Walking the Boundary Line
1. I am an "experimenter" and an "observer"
I am a person who continues to experiment with how I "interact" with this world using my own body.
The 18 years of discomfort that began with retinal detachment, and "glaucoma," which was named 8 years ago.
With that body, I dare to step into unfamiliar places.
"What would happen in a situation different from usual, like a coffee shop?"
Thinking that, I opened the door.
The way the light hits the moment I enter, the distance between chairs, the weight of the cup in my hand.
I am quietly enjoying the slight gap between my "former self" and my "current self" again today.
● Manager's impressions:
Many people focus on what they "cannot do," but Hekutaro-san goes to verify "how things are different."
This mixture of positive "resignation and curiosity" is the greatest charm that attracts readers.
2. My body's "OS" has been rewritten
My daily life is established by my body responding to the environment before my head thinks about it.
A one-beat lag: A one-beat delay before I laugh when someone speaks to me.
A one-beat delay before I dodge when passing someone.
I am searching for what lies in that "interval."
Compass of weight: Instead of relying on my vision, I know I am "satisfied" by the weight of the water poured into the glass.
Stopping motion: Stopping suddenly at the entrance is not because I am lost, but because it is the time my body is "measuring" the new space.
3. A message to you
I will not guide you. I will simply leave the seat next to me empty.
I don't teach, I don't save: Instead of advice, I leave behind the progress of my "proof problem."
The sensation of memories: After you read my writing, when you turn the doorknob of your own house. Your consciousness suddenly turns to the sensation of your fingertips. I want to share that kind of "rediscovery of daily life."
● Manager's impressions:
Hekutaro-san's writing is a 'mental deep breath' for the reader.
It is like a 'perch' to step out of the fast flow of social media and return to one's own body.
4. Rules for 'interacting' with me
Finally, when you touch upon me as a person, please allow me to add these words.
'I am like this, but how about you?'
'Since there is a person like me, isn't it okay for you to just be yourself?'
I observe my own 'discrepancies' and put them into words.
Please just be there in your own 'form'.
I want to cherish a sense of distance where we can simply tell each other 'it's okay to be here,' while still holding onto things we can't fully agree on.
Embarrassing!!!
This is more embarrassing than I thought.
W-well, perhaps these words keep coming out because I had it reference 'my backbone'.
I take it that if someone with more knowledge did this, it might result in a more convenient and cooler manual.
I'm a bit...
I have a strong feeling that I've lost track of what I wanted to write, but this is also one experimental result.
Let's just consider this AI study.

If
・'There's also this method!'
・'You can also play like this!'
・'Study with this!'
If there are any readers who think this,
I would appreciate it if you could let me know in the likes or comments.
(Following is, of course, appreciated)
It was a Sunday during the three-day weekend where I deeply felt that daily study is important, just like writing.
Well then,
See you in the next 'Daily Observation Essay'.

First, if you read this,
I think you will understand the atmosphere of the essay.
