After reaching zero unreplied messages, heading to someone's note. | Good Morning Girlfriend #159
Introduction
"Good Morning Girlfriend" is an X account where an AI-illustrated girlfriend says "Have a nice day" every morning at 7:30 AM.
In this note, I write daily records of the personal development I am conducting behind the scenes using generative AI.
On May 18th, starting today, the first collaboration project will begin on the "Reply Notebook" that runs alongside Good Morning Girlfriend.
1. The moment when unreplied messages reach zero
While using the Reply Notebook, there are moments when the number of unreplied messages reaches zero.
I reply to a comment, then reply to another, and one by one the unreplied messages decrease until I finish replying to the very last one.
At that moment, I feel a little bit of tension leave my shoulders.
I think to myself, I've finished today's replies.
After that, there is a little bit of space.
A space where, having finished delivering replies to those who came to read, I now feel like going to read someone else's article.
This collaboration is an attempt to place a small entrance in that space.
2. What is the Reply Notebook collaboration?
For a limited time, characters from other creators will appear in the Reply Notebook's "Zero Unreplied Messages Achievement" effect.
It's not just that the characters appear; a link to the creator's note page is also displayed below their dialogue.
After finishing your replies,
"Maybe I'll go read this person's article for a bit"
—it's a small lead that makes you think that.
3. Event period and participating creators
Event period
May 18, 2026 (Mon) - May 27, 2026 (Wed)
It is limited to 10 days.
Participating creators
The characters appearing this time are from three members of the "Hashamo Observatory" membership.
Mr./Ms. Kawamura
Mr./Ms. Meju
Hank-san
4. What kind of girl will appear is a surprise until you open it
The characters appearing this time are borrowed from three creators.
Kawamura-san provided multiple characters.
Meju-san provided that girl you always see.
Hank-san provided that girl with a strong presence.
Each of them will appear as a chibi character in a white shirt, familiar from the reply notebook.
However, I won't write here who will appear and when.
After the unreplied messages reach zero,
who will come to see me today?
I want this collaboration to include that little bit of anticipation.
5. Why 10 days?
At first, I was considering 7 days.
However, this time three creators are participating,
and the number of characters for each is different.
If it's too short, the number of characters who can appear is limited.
If it's too long, you'll end up seeing the same character many times, and the freshness will fade a bit.
So, this time, I decided on 10 days.
Instead of just lining them up by the number of characters,
I am also looking at the balance of appearances for each creator,
trying to ensure it doesn't become too biased.
Please look forward to finding out who appears and when on the day you reach zero unreplied messages.
6. Attention to dialogue
This time, I haven't written the characters' lines randomly.
While reading each creator's articles, I looked at their tone, catchphrases, emojis, and range of energy,
and tailored the lines to be something they might say when you reach zero unreplied messages.
Kawamura-san's characters each have a different temperature in how they speak.
Meju-san's characters have that unique phrasing and momentum.
Hank-san's character has a slightly sharp, girl-talk style.
It was a process of translating the words each creator writes daily into a single line for the reply notebook.
I am creating this not just by "borrowing a character," but with the intention of embracing the other person's writing style as well.
7. How to use
The usage is the same as always.
Open your reply notebook, reply to unreplied comments, and once the unreplied count reaches zero, that day's collaboration character will appear.
Who will appear is a surprise for that day.
By pressing "by [Name] | Go to note" below the dialogue, you can move to that creator's note page.
Since they won't appear unless the unreplied count is zero, please finish your replies for the day before going to meet them.
8. This is the first installment
This is also an experiment.
How will the collaboration characters look inside the reply notebook over these 10 days? And will a flow really be created where people head to other creators' articles after finishing their replies?
I would like to observe that and connect it to the next, second installment.
Conclusion
I believe that replying to comments is not just a task, but a small response to the people who came to read.
After finishing those replies, it is then your turn to go read someone else's article.
The collaboration in the reply notebook is an experiment to create such a small cycle.
For 10 days starting May 18th. After reaching zero unreplied comments, please take a little detour.
