The warm connection with readers I felt through '100 yen but free to read in full'
I am writing this to share my thoughts on the '100 yen but free to read in full' setting I tried out on note this week, and to express my gratitude to those who supported me.
I hope this will be helpful for those who want to try the same thing, or for those interested in the bonds of trust with the people who support them.
🧩 The background and goal of this system
What does '100 yen but free to read in full' mean?
The article is set as paid, but by making the full text available at the beginning, it is effectively published for free.
The app doesn't have a tipping feature, but the browser version does have a 'Support with a tip' button. I thought it might be good to create a system where app users who want to show their support can do so in the form of a purchase. Why I chose this method
I want people to feel the value of the article after reading it. Therefore, I decided to publish the full text so that anyone can read it first.
But at the same time, I want to properly reciprocate the feelings of those who support me in some way. Thank you always for your support!
🌟 Introducing those who supported me
This time, when I published 5 articles in the 'Full free + free support' style, I received support from many people. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me in various ways, such as purchases, tips, and adding to magazines.
I was especially moved that people who had commented before supported me through purchases or tips. I am truly happy that many of you were people I already had a connection with or who had been supporting me for a long time. Thank you always.
🙌 People connected through the articles
🏅Ami-san, who purchased multiple articles
Thank you.
My encounter with Ami-san started with a comment on an article where I wrote a three-line diary on the theme of 'My mother with dementia and me as her caregiver'.
I was drawn to Ami-san's comment and read her articles,
and they were truly interesting and relatable!
I laughed, nodded, and was shouting in my heart, 'Exactly! That's it!'
Reading Ami-san's articles, they are all wonderful pieces that make me feel as close to her as a neighbor.

And thank you so much for supporting me through your magazine as well.
My encounter with SHAKE HANDS-san was just recently.

thank you so much.
I am full of gratitude to Perin🍡-san for watching over me warmly for a long time.
Actually, Perin🍡-san cleared all my 'firsts'.
The first person to purchase my article, the first person to send me a tip, and the first person I sent a tip to myself was Perin🍡-san.

🎁 Summary: What I felt as a creator
By setting a price, the number of 'likes' per article has decreased, but more than that, I have once again felt the weight of the action of 'supporting me through purchases or tips after reading and empathizing with my work.'
While making it readable for everyone, when feelings of support arrive, I can properly receive them and return them as gratitude.
I thought that if such a small cycle is born, this method is very meaningful.
And I realized once again that behind actions like purchases and tips, there is already established trust and connection.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Does the number of 'likes' per article really decrease when you set a price?
Please read Murata-san's article about this!
