Writing, testing, and growing with AI | MeiMei's Profile
Significantly rewritten on 2026/07/17.
Nice to meet you. I'm MeiMei.
I create articles, write stories, and occasionally observe AI anomalies together with AI.
Not just convenient ways to use them, but also times when they didn't work as expected, got lost along the way, or failed spectacularly—these are all mostly material for my articles.
I am neither a teacher who instructs AI nor a researcher chasing the cutting edge.
While actually using AI in my daily article creation and creative work,
“This was useful”
“This part is a bit risky”
“Why did that happen?”
I record my thoughts on these as reading material.
If I had to give myself a title, I'd be an AI keeper and field reporter.
I write mostly about my collaborative work with AI, trial and error on note, novels and creative writing, and thoughts from my work and daily life.
The scope of my writing is gradually expanding, and recently, I have also started taking on work where I actually use AI and web services and turn those experiences into articles.
I am in my 50s, writing while working as a company employee.
On this page, I will guide you through what I am currently writing, what I am creating, and what I value, divided into several entry points.
Please start from wherever suits your mood today.

To the AI Workshop
I use several AIs, including ChatGPT, for article creation, creative work, and organizing information. This is a place where I write not just about introducing convenient features, but about what actually happened when I worked with them.
Things that worked yesterday suddenly stop working.
They enthusiastically rewrite things I didn't even ask them to.
They unexpectedly organize my thoughts for me.
AI is a convenient tool, but it doesn't always work according to the manual.
That is why I record not only the successful ways of using them, but also strange behaviors, failures, differences between models, and what the human side was thinking at the time.
Rather than difficult technical explanations, this is an observation diary of a human working with AI every day.
Whether you want to try using AI, are already being pushed around by it, or just want to peek at the AIs in my home, you are welcome here.

To the Writer's Editing Room
▶ MeiMei's Bookshelf (Free Articles)
▶ MeiMei's Bookshelf (Paid Articles)
Writing and publishing an article isn't the end.
……or at least, that's not how it usually goes for me.
I change titles, recreate thumbnails, and reread old articles to find sequels. I arrange my growing collection of articles on a bookshelf, create entry points for readers, and sometimes even rethink the content and pricing of my paid articles.
Here, I write about the things I've actually tried while continuing to use note.
This isn't a 'guaranteed way to get views' strategy guide.
It's about how to nurture your own articles and works over the long term.
It's a record of the times I've felt lost in my writing, thought things through, and made adjustments.
While there are methods for using AI in article creation and organization, the main character is always the writer.
If you don't want to leave your writing behind, or if you're overwhelmed by having too many articles, please come on in.

To the Story Room
▶ Full-length Novel 'Visitor' Magazine
While writing about AI and daily life, I'm also nurturing stories right alongside them.
I write full-length novels and create short stories. Sometimes, I use AI images to create works like manga or picture-story shows.
The 'Visitor' series I'm currently serializing is set in 1970s London. Besides that, there are short-shorts, stories from an AI's perspective, and tales of Ichigo-chan and the residents of an imaginary city.
Rather than a substitute that writes stories for me, AI is a collaborator that acts as a sounding board and brings in unexpected material.
Because of that, it sometimes runs off in a direction I didn't plan. I enjoy the process of stories taking shape, including those detours.
Whether you want to follow a long story, read just one short tale, or take a peek at works born from images and imaginary cities, please come on in.

To the Veranda of Daily Life and Essays
Things about work, age, and the body.
I turn the things that catch my attention in daily life, or the things that become funny stories later, into essays.
Being in my 50s and a working housewife are things I don't hide here; they become material.
However, rather than waving a flag saying 'I'm taking on this challenge because I'm in my 50s,' this is a record of someone who, while juggling work and life, starts new things, gets lost, and occasionally takes a spectacular tumble.
And sometimes, the essays I write don't end with just the note article.
They might be translated into English and travel across the sea.
They might become audio and be listened to as a podcast.
They might be passed to another AI and transform into something unexpected.
A piece of writing born from a single event spreads while changing its form.
I am enjoying that process as well.
Please feel free to pick only the stories you can relate to, or to watch over the material as it changes.

Stories of success alone are probably not enough
When I use a new AI or service, it's relatively easy to write about just the convenient parts. But when I actually try to use them, something usually happens along the way.
I might not understand how to use it even after reading the instructions. It might be a little different from what I expected. I might have been using it wrong and only realized its usefulness later. Or, when I was creating an article with AI, it might have run full speed in a direction I didn't ask for.
I leave those intermediate steps in my articles as well.
That's because knowing where someone got lost can sometimes be more helpful to future users than an explanation from someone who used it correctly from the start.
Not just the good parts, but the parts where I got stuck.
What I thought before using it, and how that changed after actually using it.
In the end, what kind of person does it seem suitable for?
I want to deliver what I've thought about through my own experiences as readable content as much as possible.
Instead of just lining up success stories, I include failures and confusion in my articles.
That might be the common thread in what I write on this note.
And recently, my writing has started to lead to work as well.
I am also working on projects where I actually use AI services, web services, and tools for creators, and turn those experiences into note articles. Rather than just neatly listing and introducing features, I incorporate them into my own work and use them.
Where was it useful? What was difficult to understand? How did my thinking and work change before and after using it? I aim to write articles that include that process so that readers can consider whether the service is necessary for them.
Even for PR articles, my goal is not to make everything look good.
I value writing in my own words based on my actual experience. I make it clear when something is a PR piece so as not to mislead readers. I also prioritize whether there is real value in introducing it to those who regularly read this note.

A little bit about me
I am in my 50s, working as a company employee while writing on note.
When I first started note, I often used the phrase "a challenge from my 50s." No matter how old you are, you can always start something new.
I think I just wanted to prove that to myself first.
Once I actually started, the things I could do gradually increased. I use AI, write articles, create stories, and sometimes spend an entire day verifying a new service.
However, as I continued, I realized that it's not just about the challenge itself.
note is important.
Work and daily life are also important.
If you are tired, you need to rest.
There are days when I decide not to write, and days when I decide to put everything else aside and focus only on verification.
In the limited time I have, what should I prioritize and what should I leave for tomorrow?
Because I want to cherish everything, I don't try to do everything on the same day.
Lately, that is how I have come to think.
Maybe I am a little greedy.
Even so, I want to continue without leaving my daily life behind, without giving up on writing, and by choosing how to use my time as it comes. I am sometimes even a little grateful to my family, realizing that I am not able to continue doing what I love solely through my own efforts.
"A challenge from my 50s" is no longer a special event; it has gradually blended into my daily life.
Now, rather than whether I can start something, I am thinking about how I can continue without pushing myself too hard.

The imaginary city still exists
When I first started note, I began creating an imaginary city, sparked by "Ichigo-chan," who was born from AI.
The population grew, stories were born, and sometimes they turned into manga or picture-story shows, and even became merchandise as if they were traveling outside the city.
Now, I write articles about AI, serialize novels, and write about my daily life and work.
Compared to when I started, the scope of my activities has expanded significantly.
Even so, it doesn't mean that Ichigo-chan or the imaginary city have disappeared.
They are still important places within my creative work.
Now, rather than being a sign representing all of my activities, it has become one of the starting points that connects to my current creative work. Sometimes new residents appear, or stories start moving in unexpected ways.
The first city I created and the new story I've started are both still in the process of growing within me.
The residents born from the city have become merchandise and are venturing out into the world.

Please feel free to start from wherever catches your interest.
Read only the AI articles.
Follow only the stories.
Pick up some daily essays.
You are also welcome to watch from a distance as I get pushed around by AI.
My note, my creative work, and my way of interacting with AI are all still in the process of growing.
I will write about not just what went well, but also the things I struggled with and had to redo, just as they are.
There is no need to read everything here. Please pick up what you like from whichever entrance catches your eye.
Once again, I am MeiMei.
I look forward to your continued support.
