Calm Correspondence 44

This shop is one of the popular spots in the town of Fang. It is always bustling with customers. The left half of the building is the kitchen and living space. There is seating on the right side.

The photo below was taken from inside the shop facing the road. Customers come and go one after another. Everyone arrives by motorbike or car.

The photo below shows the Thai ramen I ordered and a small plate of all-you-can-eat additive-free bean sprouts. I like this shop because their bean sprouts are very beautiful.

The ramen toppings include a large serving of fish balls. They have a texture like Japanese hanpen and are nice and bouncy. I added the spices (chili, vinegar, sugar) shown at the top of the photo, so it turned a little red...

I often come here to eat because this shop has the best soup in the area. I stop by often, especially since there is a large supermarket in the town of Fang.

The soup is an excellent blend of chicken broth, Thai soy sauce, and various spices, creating a refreshing yet robust flavor. It is a superb taste that lets everyone focus on eating heartily in silence.

The ramen above, with the addition of Thai fish balls, cost a total of 200 yen. For me, it is a very satisfying dish!

The photo below is of the kitchen area.

The landlady shows me a smile as I point my camera at her. As expected of the landlady of a popular shop, she always greets me with this smile. (I believe the person on the right is her husband.)

Now then...

Today, I'll leave you with a bonus photo at the end...

The photo below is of the usual main road in northern Chiang Mai, but I took it because I saw some delicious-looking clouds...

Let me zoom in a bit more...
Please take a look at the photo below...

To me, it looked like a delicious jam sandwich...

What do you think...?

Floating in the blue sky... A white jam sandwich...

If you enjoyed reading this... I would be happy.
