The Child Who Wanted to Be a Wizard Is Here Now | The Creator Code Series #018

Hello. I am ARYA.

I have been writing about the insights I received from the audiobook "The Creator Code" as the "Creator Code Series."

Starting now, I will be writing about the insights from the audiobook
This audiobook will find you when you need it most
.

~The Code to Return to Being a Child~

Childhood visions are not illusions, but intentions

Your childhood visions weren’t illusions.
They were intentions.

(Childhood visions are not illusions, but intentions)

This was the phrase that first gripped my heart.
And then,

Awareness without conclusion.
(Receive only the awareness without rushing to a conclusion)

What I saw from working with children

As an English teacher, I have worked with children for many years, and I have seen the vastness of their worldview time and time again.

At the same time, I also learned that it is adults and the structures of society that destroy that world.

Even though I was once a child myself, I felt as if I had left behind the sensitivity of those days somewhere along the way.

The child I was

I wanted to be a wizard.
I loved wizard anime on TV.
I truly believed I could go to that world.

My stuffed animals were not "things," but beings with whom I could share my heart.
My white Snoopy turned gray from being hugged too much, and when its ear came off, my mother would sew it back on.
Every time she did, I felt like it had "returned."

I loved coloring books and paper dolls.
I wanted a large set of colored pencils with many colors.
But I remember being told, "You don't need that many," and having it rejected.

I watched Sesame Street and longed for English.
Even if I didn't understand the meaning, the rhythm of the language and the worldview felt comfortable.

I liked being alone, and the world of my imagination was always the safest place.

These were long tucked away as mere nostalgic memories of childhood.

And, the me of today

The me of today uses English naturally and makes it my work.

I am surrounded by colorful natural stones and glass beads, creating accessories.
The large set of colored pencils that was rejected long ago has appeared as a world of color made of many types of stones and beads.

I am also touching upon a world called Power Stone Reading, which is somewhat similar to that of a "wizard."

Magic, color, English, stuffed animals, playing alone.

I haven't consciously connected these things.

I have just been living my life as an adult, yet before I knew it, the things I loved as a child have returned.

A time when I prioritized someone else's version of what is right

Since becoming a working adult, what I worked so hard at was,

  • what I 'should' do

  • what I 'ought' to be

  • what I must do to be evaluated

  • effort is the condition for success

It was that kind of social correctness.

I worked seriously hard, and
looking back now, I think it was exhausting.

After going through various experiences, I became able to let go of the things that were exhausting.

And English, the world of color, and stone reading are things
I did not acquire through desperate effort.

Naturally, before I knew it, I was flowing in that direction.

Receive only the awareness

I want to reach a conclusion by asking, 'What does this mean?'

But this time, that question is unnecessary.

Awareness without conclusion.
(Receive only the awareness, without drawing a conclusion)
I picked up this phrase from an audiobook as well.

Just receive the awareness and move on to the next thing.

Go with the flow,
leave it to the universe.
It feels something like that.

Blueprint

In the previous article of the Creator's Code series, I wrote about blueprints.

The soul has a blueprint, and when you walk along it, "joy" and "gratitude" naturally well up.

Or rather,
the direction where you feel joy and gratitude
might be the path of the blueprint itself.

The things I "loved" as a child were forgotten, but they hadn't disappeared.
They were quietly leading to who I am now.

Childhood visions are not illusions, but intentions.
I am living that now.
