There’s no better way to kick off the summer than with WOSU at the Columbus Arts Festival. Join us for a weekend of artistic adventure for all ages.

Meet and greet your favorite WOSU host, learn about upcoming content, craft and grab a friend for our WOSU Kids Club scavenger hunt, featuring Phoebe & Jay.

We’ll be located on Dorian Green, outside of COSI.

WOSU's Second Saturday Kids Day will also be on the road at the Arts Festival on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet special guest Nature Cat from the hit PBS show Nature Cat, make a Nature Cat hat, and more!

WOSU's Drawing with Mr. J will be onstage from 10-11:30 a.m.

Follow your curiosity at the next Second Saturday Kids Day! This month we are on the road at the Columbus Arts Fest to have exciting hands on learning experiences and activities. Meet special guest Nature Cat from the hit PBS show Nature Cat, make a Nature Cat hat, and more!

Activities include:

• Coloring
• Drawing with Mr. J inspired drawing challenge
• Chalk and bubbles (weather permitting)
• Airbrush artist
• Meet and Greet with Nature Cat

Join WOSU Public Media at Juneteenth on the Ave. for an engaging afternoon of content and activities, featuring the season launch/listening party of New Perspectives: Bach to Biggie show on Classical 101.

WOSU is excited to host another lively political discussion in a casual setting. Grab a pour at Seventh Son Brewing and engage with our expert panel about the upcoming general election, current news, issues and topics.

Admission is $10 and includes a WOSU Power to the Public pint glass. Seventh Son will generously donate $1 of every beer and Kitty Paw hard seltzer purchased from the sunroom bar to support WOSU's mission (must mention that you are a guest of WOSU).

Christopher will talk with three fiction authors to see the depth of research behind their favorite stories. Take a peek beneath the surface with these fiction authors.

Join WOSU at the Ohio State Fair in the children’s village for engaging family activities.

Also don’t miss a culinary demonstration with Kate Quickel of Kate’s Quick Bites and Broad & High at 4 p.m. in the new Ohio Proud Kitchen on the fairgrounds.

Bluegrass at the Barn is back—and we’re bringing it home!

This year, the celebration moves to the heart of The Ohio State University campus at the iconic Mershon Auditorium.
Join us Sunday, August 16, for a full day of bluegrass music, featuring a “Grand Ole Opry”–style lineup that celebrates the past, present, and future of the genre.

For the fourth year, we’re showcasing some of the biggest names in bluegrass today—welcoming back fan favorites alongside artists making their Bluegrass at the Barn debut.

• Junior Sisk
• Hammertowne
• Don Rigsby
