- Submissions without an author bio and credentials
Author Requirements
We publish bylined content from credentialed professionals. Your author bio appears on every article and feeds into our structured data (Schema.org Person markup), which helps both your personal brand and our editorial authority.
Your author profile should include:
- Current role and employer (or “Independent Consultant”)
- Years of relevant experience
- Certifications, degrees, or professional credentials
- Notable speaking engagements, publications, or open-source contributions
- A professional headshot (minimum 400x400px)
- Links to your LinkedIn, GitHub, or personal site

Our editorial team reviews pitches within 3-5 business days. We respond with approval, feedback, or a redirect to a better-fit topic.
Write & Submit
Draft your article in Google Docs or Markdown. Include all data tables, code blocks, and source citations. Submit for editorial review.
Edit & Publish
Our editors fact-check, optimize for SEO, and format for publication. You review the final version before it goes live under your byline.
What Contributors Get
We also offer paid contributor arrangements for recurring columnists who consistently deliver high-quality, data-driven content. Rates are discussed on a case-by-case basis after your first published piece.
Multilingual Contributions
Tech Insider publishes in four languages: English, French, Swedish, and Finnish. We welcome contributions in any of these languages from native or near-native speakers.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long until I hear back about my pitch?
We review all pitches within 3-5 business days. If you have not heard back within 7 days, feel free to follow up.
Can I republish my article elsewhere after it is published here?
We require a 30-day exclusivity window. After that, you may republish with a canonical link pointing back to the Tech Insider version.
Do you accept AI-generated content?
We accept AI-assisted content where the author has added substantial original analysis, personal experience, and editorial judgment. Fully AI-generated articles without meaningful human contribution are rejected.
What format should my submission be in?
Google Docs (preferred) or Markdown. Include images as separate files or high-resolution links. Code blocks should be properly formatted and tested.
Can I include links to my company products?
Contextual mentions are fine if genuinely relevant to the analysis. Promotional content or excessive self-linking will be edited out.
