Troubleshooter has Online and Offline modes. Offline mode does not require an Internet connection. I recommend Offline mode to you.

Thank you for this - from what I have read, maybe I missed something, its more on the social and trading side of things being connected online.
While playing offline, I don't really miss any content.

Basically, yeah. I think the only thing you would "miss out" on at this point is playing vs ai controlled versions of other player's teams once the story is over. Nothing to really be concerned about.
