My first planner event. The miracle of meeting people you couldn't meet through planners
I became convinced that my love for planners wasn't just for show.
It turned into that kind of day.
Meeting people you couldn't meet through planners.
It was an event overflowing with passion for planners.
Isn't it just too blissful to be able to talk about planners with fellow planner lovers?
Isn't it just too blissful?
Because of that, the bell signaling a change in my planner life rang loudly. It was an intense sound.
It wasn't a quiet, trembling vibration, but a tremendous shock that made me shake.
1. But, it didn't feel like the first time
I write about planners all the time on note, but embarrassingly enough, this was my first time participating in a planner event in my life.
WATASHITACHI Planner Festival in TOKYO @ KOKUYO Shinagawa THE CAMPUS

The fact that it's handwritten is nice, isn't it?
To be honest, I wonder how long it's been since I went to an event where I didn't know anyone...
The anxiety of heading in alone was something else...
We are loosely connected on social media, but it's nothing more or less than that.
To be more precise, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I'm just following them one-sidedly.
But you know, when I saw the announcement for the "Planner Festival," I thought, "I want to go."
My intuition was telling me that I "should go".
On the day, Kanakoro-san waved to welcome me. No, that's just too kind. I mean, it doesn't feel like we met for the first time...
Huh? Is it the planners that are making me feel this way?
If so, isn't the power of planners just amazing? lol

Kanakoro-san and Techo Oyaji-san an event planned by them.
It started with a warm atmosphere.

He says he has never changed the way he writes in his planner.
It is such a wonderful planner, a feast for the eyes.

It is written vertically, saying "I decided to sleep as much as I want."
It is such a wonderful planner, a feast for the eyes.
I mean, aren't their smiles just too good? No, they really are!
Can't you imagine just from this that it was a wonderful planner event?
Being able to listen to them from the front row was truly a blissful time.
Yes, other people's planners are sweet as honey.
Being able to see the contents of a planner is the same as peeking into a treasure chest. Even if you use the same planner, the way you use it will be completely different. That is why every planner is precious, and the people who write in them are even more precious.
2. Finding your "core" by "writing"
I also received many words of wisdom. I will introduce them along with Kaitou's (messy) notes.

When I summarize the notes,
{Techo Oyaji-san】 Left-brain type planner
⚫︎ The planner becomes your own data
⚫︎ Tracking physical condition
⚫︎ 0/100 thinking, logical type
{Kanakoro-san】 Right-brain type planner
⚫︎ Navigation for emotions and physical condition
⚫︎ Actions and emotions are a set
⚫︎ Gradient thinking
Even when using the same planner, people's thoughts and what they write are completely different. This is also one of the interesting things about planners. And, a planner reveals a person's character, personality, and life.
That is precisely why, by writing in a planner, you can organize your "inner heart" or discover "where you are right now." You can see things because you write them down. In other words...
By "writing," you find your own "core."
And, it's okay if you can't write in your planner. When you can't write, you just need to lower your "writing level." Kanakoro-san expressed it as "never having a zero-line day.".
Furthermore, Techo-Oyaji-san used a unique planner method called "3Function." Seeing other people's planners is so sweet... there is so much to learn...!

3. Conviction over doing it properly
This is also Kanakoro-san's phrase. Kanakoro-san says she is "not trying to write properly" in her planner. She writes in her planner because she wants to know the true nature of her feelings. There are things you can see by writing in a planner. And, she writes to know where she is right now. This is Kanakoro-san's planner philosophy.
Conviction over doing it properly.
So, it's fine if your emotions are leaking out.
When I heard this, I thought from the bottom of my heart that it's okay for planners to be free, and I felt like my heart was gently and warmly comforted. My planner life started with writing memos, but now I use it for journaling and to face myself. And...
I can no longer imagine a life without writing.
It's that kind of life, but maybe I'm very happy right now.
If I hadn't been writing in a planner, I wouldn't have met the people I've met.
There was a time in the middle where we paired up to share, and a miracle happened here too.
I ended up paired with TOMO-san, who had just written an article on note about going to the planner festival. I couldn't believe it...!
Actually, I had commented on TOMO-san's article saying, "I'll be participating too." I had hoped to talk to them if I had the chance, but I never expected it to happen at this moment...! *tears*
TOMO-san's wonderful event recap article...
The kindness just oozes out of the writing; you can't hide your personality!
My first-ever planner event became an unforgettable day.
Meeting so many people overflowing with love for planners also became an important moment in my life.
And, I have come to love planners even more.
▼ I run a note membership!
For those who worry that they can't write in their planner. For those who can't keep it up alone. For those who want planner friends. Would you like to write in your planner with me?
I run a group called Nana-Katsu "-Planner time from 7 AM-" which is a group that writes in planners starting at 7 AM.We received feedback from people saying they could participate if it started at 6 AM, so we have started a 6:00-6:40 slot as well!!
I am also reading everyone's notes!
Thank you for the insights and learning!
If you found this note helpful, I would be happy if you could give it a like or follow me!
