Solving Tangled Thread Troubles! The Magic Keywords!

During sewing class, have you ever been bombarded with questions like, "Teacher, how much thread should I cut?" or struggled with students whose thread is too long and gets tangled?

Today, I would like to introduce a "divine practice" that I relied on throughout my time as a teacher.

All you need are two simple keywords.

"Shwatch"
"Shakiin"

With just these, the guidelines of 30cm and 60cm will become second nature to the children.

"Shwatch"

From fingertips to "elbow" (approx. 30cm)

"Shakiin"

From fingertips to "shoulder" (approx. 60cm)

"Teacher, which length?"
When asked this, just reply with one word,
"Today is Shwatch."
and that's it.

With just this, even children who aren't good at sewing can proceed with their work without hesitation.

Every time they prepared their thread, hearing "Shwatch" and "Shakiin" echoing throughout the classroom was just too cute🤭
