The most surprising thing since becoming a trainer💡
Since I started working as a trainer, I've had many moments where I thought
in many ways
“Wait, really?”
About muscle training.
About nutrition.
About how to use the body.
Today, I'd like to talk a little about
the most surprising thing
I've encountered since becoming a trainer💪
There are more people than I imagined who can't do a squat😅
For example, during the initial consultation, I sometimes ask,
“Okay, could you try doing a squat for me?”
Of course, just a bodyweight squat❗
Then...
what I see more often than I expected is
a movement like simple knee bends.
Many people end up doing a movement that is
a bit different from a proper squat.
Even more common are cases where:
💨 They don't know how to breathe
💨 They don't know how to use their body.
At first, I sometimes felt frustrated, thinking,
“How can I explain this so they understand...” (laughs)
But as we repeat the movements,
✨ Their movement becomes cleaner
✨ Their form improves.
Seeing that change is a very enjoyable moment for me as a trainer😊
Actually, many people are "light eaters"🍚
This also surprised me at first.
It's hard to put this delicately, but...
the fuller-figured someone is, the less they often eat.
It's surprisingly common to hear,
“Is that really all you're eating?”
But when I carefully listen to their daily routine,
💡 “Ah, here it is!”
The cause becomes visible.
Whether it's the timing of their meals or their lifestyle habits.
The moment that is discovered, it's like a puzzle piece clicking into place,
and it's actually quite an interesting moment for me too🥹
I find myself observing people's bodies even in daily life👀
This might be a complete
occupational hazard (laughs).
Even when walking down the street, I can't help but look:
🚶“Is something wrong here?”
🚶“Maybe they're in pain here?”
🚶“Their walking would be so much cleaner if they did this.”
I mentioned this yesterday, but my teacher at vocational school told me,
“Always observe how people walk.”
Thanks to those words, I now have a natural habit of observing how people use their bodies.
Frequently asked questions❓❓❓❓
I often get questions like these from clients:
🍚“Is it really okay to eat this much?”
🍞“I won't be able to think clearly if I don't eat carbs, right?”
🏋️“Won't my shoulders get too broad if I train them?”
🦵“My legs will get thicker if I train them, right?”
🥤“Protein makes you gain weight, right?”
And sometimes,
“Why are you so positive?”
I get asked that too (laughs).
Explaining these things in an easy-to-understand way that makes sense to them—
I feel like I've gotten much better at this as a trainer too✨
Something I really want to convey🗣︎💬
As a trainer, there is something I really want to convey.
It is that
you won't lose weight with extreme dietary restrictions. Cutting calories drastically.
Just enduring it.
That won't change your body effectively.
The body has a mechanism, you know🧬
That's why, if you're thinking,
“Why am I not losing weight?”
I hope you don't worry alone, but come and consult with me instead😉
Finally︎🌟
There are truly so many people who say,
“I don't know what I should do”
when it comes to dieting or body makeup.
But it's okay😆
Your body will change if you continue with the right methods.
I hope this article can be a small starting point for those who:
✨ Want to start a diet
✨ Want to do body makeup
✨ Want to start exercising.
I will continue to share information about the body in an easy-to-understand way🤝🏻
