[Public Execution] The story of how I, the creator of AI coloring books, tried coloring my own book and it was a disaster

Hello, I'm Neko Yoshida🐱

I usually make my own stylish coloring books using AI, but today I'm going to expose a bit of my 'embarrassing side' (lol).

I ordered a sample of the coloring book I created, so I tried coloring it with colored pencils and markers.

I'm good at planning the composition, creating the original image with AI, and refining it into line art.

……But the moment it came to 'adding color with my own hands,' a disaster occurred.

The problem of my 'coloring' skills being absolutely catastrophic

This is the current reality of a woman in her late 30s, this is about as good as it gets (lol).

I feel like I was a bit better back when I used to draw on my iPad.

With digital tools, I could fake it using layers and the undo button, but when it comes to applying color to the actual physical paper with pens and pencils, I'm surprisingly terrible at it.

'Like' and 'good at' are different things (lol).

I love coloring books.

Designing, drawing, the whole process of creating something is exciting.

But, 'Like' and 'good at' are two different things.

I've proven that with my own experience (lol).

Because I'm bad at it, there's nowhere to go but up!

I actually wanted to post a video of me coloring it to promote it in a cool way…….

But, with these skills…… I hesitated for a moment (´・ω・`)

However, I tried looking at it from the opposite perspective.

"Wouldn't it be interesting to expose the process of getting better and better from this clumsy state?" I thought.

I've named it, "Yoshida Neko's Coloring Level-Up Grand Strategy"!

I think it might be a form of entertainment to share my progress as I improve step by step on YouTube and social media 😂

My daily life as a mother, too.

I'm writing these notes while going through trial and error, but in my private life, my son's elementary school entrance ceremony is coming up soon!

While worrying about what to wear, I'm just Yoshida Neko, spending my time at home lounging around as usual (lol)

I'll do my best to enjoy both the school entrance preparations and the coloring!
