♬Music Transcends Borders♬

For those of us living in a democratic society in our beloved homeland of Japan,
we have freedom of speech. Freedom of expression, freedom of occupational choice, freedom of academic inquiry,
freedom of thought and creed, and freedom of assembly and association are also guaranteed.
The same holds true for 'music'; the right to create it, the opportunity to perform it, and the freedom to listen to it
are, fortunately, all guaranteed.

Anyone can incorporate all kinds of music into every corner of their life
and enjoy it to their heart's content.
Music has no borders; it is a universal language of humanity and, at the same time,
an irreplaceable cultural heritage common to all mankind.
Transcending the gaps of time and the barriers of history,
it travels freely throughout the world, continuing to give
dreams, hope, and courage to the hearts of all people.
Or, it can also provide comfort in times of deep sorrow.

In this vast world, there is a massive amount of music, as numerous as the stars in the sky.
Ceremonies, joys, and sorrows. The changing seasons and historical backgrounds.
There exists an endless variety of music suited to each moment.
The infinite expanse, akin to a great universe, condensed into just a few minutes of each song.
If music is something created by humans,
then it is also humans who can understand it.
However, the music we are permitted to encounter in our lifetime
is but a handful compared to the astronomical total.
Like a romantic flight to an unknown land, I have always
eagerly anticipated moving encounters with music.

The sense of fulfillment in life depends decisively on how many things you love or find moving.
For example, listening to your favorite music while feeling the changing of the seasons on your skin.
For example, gathering with friends to talk about the pride of your hometown or
reminisce about your student days... People are never more open
to the 'receptors' within their hearts than in such moments.
Along with your chosen background music, you could talk about your first love,
dreams of traveling around the world, enthusiasm for your work, or your future life plans.
In any case, why not actively seek out ways to spend your life meaningfully in your own way?

The many experiences of your youth will serve you throughout your life, even into old age.
Because the journey of life is long, you will inevitably
face various worries and difficult problems along the way.
If the person involved possesses a wide range of knowledge or education,
they might be able to immediately derive the correct solution.

To attain truth, one needs a mindset that can 'objectively view' things
without clinging to narrow concepts. Simply put,it means casting aside all prejudice and trying to perceive things from various angles.

Even with trivial daily events, try not to dismiss them as 'trivial'
but instead show as much interest as possible. If you can find even a little interest,
saying 'Ah, I see!', life will begin to open up from there.
If life is about encounters, wonderful encounters will not easily come
unless you actively seek them out yourself.

Rather than being a picky eater, keep a spirit of inquiry at all times.
By doing so, you can accumulate more experience efficiently. You should absorb the nutrients necessary for your life's journey as much as you can.

If you intentionally have strong likes and dislikes while facing a feast rich in nutrients,
you will likely end up malnourished. It is, in a sense, unfortunate to be unable to enjoy the deep flavors of music or food
and to be able to show interest only in specific objects in a paranoid way.
You might be labeled with unwanted tags like underdeveloped taste or a dried-up mind.
Of course, I am not saying you should eat everything indiscriminately,
but leaving room for discernment and selection, to the extent that you do not cause indigestion,
is a common-sense prerequisite...

From now on, it is an era that demands 'richness of sensibility'.
The capacity for tolerance, generosity, and range as a member of society.

In other words, the breadth of your sensibility becomes a sturdy 'fortress'
for surviving in modern society, especially in difficult times.

Before making self-righteous and unbalanced value judgments in art, culture, politics, social thought, and everything else,it is essential to first polish your own sensibility.
By doing so, you can boldly explore even the desolate lands that were previously untrodden.
By coming into contact with diverse values, deliberating on them yourself, learning,
and never forgetting respect for others, you can steadily acquire it step by step,
and only then can you build a sensibility with a wide field of view and a sense of balance.

As good material for moral education, the use of music is an especially excellent idea.
Avoiding preconceptions and regardless of genre or singer, the best method is to
immerse yourself in appreciation with an attitude of accepting music broadly.
Inspire and modulate your own sensibility as the occasion demands, and control it freely. If you acquire such techniques or lifestyle habits naturally,
you will be able to respond flexibly in terms of human relationships as well.
You will not be unnecessarily upset, enraged, look down on others,
or spend your days without emotion.

A wide engagement with music—.
With just this keyword, life opens up surprisingly richly.

If we can acquire an open and broad sensibility through music and fly off
into a freer world, what a reliable, flexible, andsolid 'spiritual pillar' we will have built.

As a familiar and optimal barometer for measuring 'richness of sensibility',the role of music is outstanding. Without sticking to the same tendencies,
how broadly can you accept, understand, and utilize music?
Sometimes like a close friend, sometimes like a cup of tea, and sometimes
like facing a magnificent view, it is good to use it for the promotion of physical and mental health.
Or perhaps, because music is indispensable to daily life in general,
it may have already permeated the world within your hearts...
