Why do some people change after hearing the "same story" while others don't? The essence of "who you are delivering to" as seen in a remark by Tatsuro Yamashita
When you listen to music, are you the type of person who cares about sound quality?
Or are you the type who is happy just listening to music you can groove to?
The other day, I wrote about the difference between Dragon Quest and an orchestra in terms of entry design.
That got me thinking about "attention to detail."
At that moment, Tatsuro Yamashita's radio show was playing.
At the beginning, he said,
"Today, too, I will deliver music with the highest sound quality."
It seems he is particular about the streaming equipment he uses to deliver the music.
This made me think about communication once again.
To be honest, I am not the type of person who is particular about music.
I don't listen to music on a daily basis, and I don't have any particular favorite artists or songs.
So at first, when I heard that opening message,
"Huh, I wonder if there's really that much of a difference on the radio"
is about all I thought.
However, I felt that message was very symbolic.
"I am delivering this to people who want to listen properly."
A quiet declaration of intent.
He isn't just playing music,
"he has decided who he is delivering it to."
Music is something that
some people just want to enjoy lightly, while others want to listen with attention to the fine details of the sound quality.
It's not about which is correct or which is superior; it's just that "what they are looking for is different."
I don't have any particular preferences when it comes to music either.
But for people like my musician friends, even the slightest difference is something they notice.
I think the same applies to communication.
The world is overflowing with various worries, and it is also overflowing with solutions to those worries.
Within that,
there are those who just want to feel a little better in the moment, and those who just want to lift their spirits for the time being.
And that is perfectly fine.
But on the other hand,
・People who want to properly face themselves ・People who want to change from the root ・People who don't want to repeat the same things over and over
definitely exist as well.
These are the people I am delivering to.
So honestly,
the content is often not the kind that you can read lightly and feel refreshed.
Up until now,
I have been told things like,
“It hurts to read,” “It’s too intense,” “It’s a bit scary,” “Honestly, I don’t really get it.”
Even so,
for some reason, they can't just scroll past it.
That is because,
sometimes you see things you didn't want to see, and once you notice them, you can't go back to how things were before.
That is precisely why,
there are those who think, 'I've finally found it,' and those who feel, 'This was the only thing that could help me break free.'
That is why I want to deliver my message for people like them.
Even after listening to the message from Tatsuro Yamashita at the beginning,
I kept the radio playing.
It was a low tone that resonated through my entire body.
I was instantly immersed in the world of that music.
Even for someone like me with little interest in music,
'This is what high-quality music is,'
I was able to comfortably lose myself in the music.
Even if you aren't interested,
because there are people who keep delivering it like that,
you can have valuable experiences.
There are new realizations.
I, too, wanted to deliver a melody of writing that intoxicates people in the same way.
(After all, it is a world of high-proof concentrate.)

Music is the same,
you can enjoy it lightly,
or you can listen to it deeply.
How far you go into it is up to you.
However,
I have decided who I am creating it for.
That is all there is to it.
If right now,
・You feel like you are repeating the same things
・You feel like you aren't making progress even though you are thinking about it
・You feel relieved in the moment, but then you go right back to how things were
If you have those feelings,
It might not be a 'lack of effort',
but rather a problem with the 'structure you are looking at'.
Some people prefer lightness.
But,
there are definitely people who seek depth as well.
I am delivering my message to those people.
満たされない人に足りないのは、もっと頑張ることじゃない。The anxiety of the AI era,
the fatigue of repetition,
and the lingering question of 'is this really okay?'
Even though you are thinking it through properly,
for some reason, you aren't moving forward.
All of that comes from the same single misalignment.
