This time, I'd like to introduce **Bill Charlap**, a master pianist who is currently considered one of the best in the world at interpreting the Great American Songbook (classic American standards). This album, 'Street of Dreams,' is a masterpiece of pure, graceful, and sophisticated piano trio jazz, recorded in 2021 for the prestigious Blue Note label with his long-standing, rock-solid regular trio.

This is a recording by Bill Charlap (piano), Peter Washington (bass), and Kenny Washington (drums). Since their formation in 1997, they have been one of the leading regular trios in modern jazz, continuing to perform for over 20 years without a single member change. From jazz originals like Dave Brubeck's 'The Duke' and Kenny Burrell's 'Your Host' to the elegant title track 'Street of Dreams,' they beautifully depict numerous classics with a superb, perfectly synchronized ensemble.
