The Day My Article Reached Someone

I never imagined my article would be chosen.

When I opened note today...

"Congratulations!"

The words jumped out at me.

For a moment, I was like,

"...Wait, me?"

(laughs).

To my surprise, out of all the entries for #MyStressReliefMethod, they chose my article

" 'I have to forget it quickly'—this is what tires the heart the most"
Thank you so much.

I am truly grateful.
😭🌷

To be honest, when I wrote this article, I had some doubts.

"If I write about my own experiences like this, will anyone actually read it?"

I felt that way.

In the past, whenever something unpleasant happened, I would try to force myself to move on by saying,

"I'll just forget it."
"I'll try not to worry about it."
"I shouldn't let this drag on forever."

But the more I tried to forget, the more I remembered.

"Why am I still dwelling on this?"

I would end up blaming not just the unpleasant event, but myself as well.

Based on that experience, I wrote this article because I wanted to convey:

"Isn't it okay if you don't forget it right away?""Isn't it okay to first acknowledge that you're hurting?"

I didn't intend to write anything special.
I just wrote about things I actually struggled with, felt exhausted by, and gradually changed my perspective on, all in my own words.

That is why I am truly happy that it was chosen this time.

"My own experiences can actually be useful to someone else."

This event made me realize that.

Since I started note, every day has been a process of trial and error."Will this message come across?""Is it okay to write about this?"

"Is anyone even going to read this in the first place?"

I think about these things a lot (laughs).

Even so, this award has made me think once again,

"Even if it's not perfect, I'll try to put my experiences into words and share them."

As someone with an HSP temperament, I often worry more than necessary about what people say, or I keep thinking about work even after I get home.

I have experienced this "life of overthinking and exhaustion" many times. That is why, from now on, I want to continue sharing words that might make someone think,

"I'm not the only one who feels this way."

"I feel a little more at ease now."
"Maybe I'll try my best for just one more day tomorrow."

Of course, I won't be able to write well every time.

Sometimes, I might think,

"Today's post is really good!"only to read it the next day and think,

"...What is this? (laughs)"

That's okay too 😂My goal isn't just to write polished prose, but to take the things I've experienced and felt and shape them into something that can reach someone.

I want to keep sharing my thoughts steadily like that.

Thank you so, so much for finding my article among the many entries and for choosing it.

I will turn this joy into strength and keep doing my best 💪🌷

And to everyone who always reads my articles.

To those who press the 'like' button.

To those who leave comments.

To those who follow me.

To those who quietly come to read.

It is thanks to all of you that I feel like I can keep writing.

I still have a lot to learn, but I will continue to move forward one step at a time so that I can write articles that make you feel glad you read them.

Thank you so much!!

I would be happy if you continue to read my posts, even with me being the way I am ☺️

I look forward to your continued support (●´ϖ`●)
