[Experiment] Bread makers will still rise properly even if the power is cut for a little while
A little while ago, I made bread in my bread maker and it didn't rise.
So, this time I measured everything carefully and tried again.
Just like last time, after about 2 hours had passed, I turned the power off during fermentation and immediately turned it back on.
The result... as you can see, even though it's still in the middle of fermentation, it has already risen almost to the lid.

In other words... if the power goes out midway, there is no problem as long as you turn it back on immediately!
So, the reason it didn't rise last time was simply my measuring mistake.
● The recipe calls for 2.8g of dry yeast, but... I really wanted it to rise, so I used more than 3g. The scale I'm using now only shows grams, so both 2.0 and 2.9 are displayed as just '2'. ● When I tasted it, it was quite salty, so could salt be the cause?
This time, with more yeast, it rose more than ever before, so the amount of yeast is definitely the reason for it rising too much.
So, I will be buying a scale that measures in 0.1g increments soon.
