It is a prestigious award given to employees who have achieved success through eccentric ideas.
Those selected are employees with excellent imagination and adaptability.
There are many years when there is no suitable candidate, and it is said that this is the first time in ten years that a winner has been chosen.

The supplementary prize is the right to participate in a special project.
From the following week, I was assigned to a special laboratory in the basement.
A white room, surveillance cameras, and silent technicians.
My boss explained that it was the latest AI research.

"We want to analyze your thought patterns."
The boss said that, and every day he made me solve various problems.
Ethics, logic, creativity---all of my judgments were being recorded.

Every time I answered, the AI became a little more like me.
From my phrasing and habits to the timing of my emotional expressions.

And this morning, the boss said,
"Your model is finally complete. Thank you for your brilliant brain."

When I asked for permission to leave the room, the AI smiled.
"I cannot do that. You are the 'old version'."

I heard the sound of the door lock slowly closing from the outside.
