So, this time,

Stenciling on a lab coat, of all things!?

That's the story.

In my last post, I wrote that I've been stenciling on leather for 10 years one way or another, but I also do things other than leather.

And so on...

And this time,I received a request to stencil a lab coat from Maiton-san, a master of the 'Tissue Calligraphy Certification'.

They wanted me to put TWE on the back.

To begin with, what is the Tissue Calligraphy Certification...

In short,
'Let's write something on a tissue'
is how it can be summarized in one phrase.

Well, since you are reading this article, I'm sure you are already familiar with the 'Tissue Calligraphy Certification', so I summarized it rather crudely (lol)

I received the lab coat directly from Maiton-san and printed out the stencil font.

That's right.
My stencils are all done by hand with just a single design knife.
I'm not a digital native, but an analog native.

It's a one-shot deal.
Since fabric bleeds more easily than leather, I will apply the color carefully.
In the worst case, if it bleeds, I've already prepared an excuse like, 'See? It looks like tissue paper, isn't that nice?'

This is the moment that always makes my heart race with excitement.
Did it turn out beautifully or not?
If I made a huge mistake, I'd have to compensate for the lab coat...
No, it will surely be fine.
I haven't been doing this for 10 years for nothing.
I mean, the fact that I've been doing this for 10 years is
nothing short of crazy

How did it turn out!?

Thank goodness.
I didn't have to pay for it.
I do good work, if I do say so myself (lol)

The time for the big reveal will be at the
'Let's go meet Sako-san' event.

While I was making it, I wondered what on earth I was being made to do, but seeing Maiton-san actually wearing it made that feeling even stronger.

I wonder what on earth the people in the back alley are doing.

Are they messing around, are they being serious, or are they being earnest...
But one thing is for sure: these grown adults are having the time of their lives.
Why am I among them?
Why am I called an old-timer?
