Let's Spread the 'Note Mandala' to Those Who Can't Write
I'm Yasu, the one who finds writing topics by digging deep. Thank you again for today.
Last night, I did a Stand.fm (audio broadcast) for the first time in a while. Stand.fm is like a radio broadcast done by individuals. Maybe it's the audio version of note?
I let my guard down thinking maybe three people would listen, and I just kept talking about whatever I wanted, and then there were nearly 50 listeners?!
Arkun and Habit Supportershogo-san's popularity. Arkun is a member who has been in the writing club I run since the day it was founded. The topic of his articles is 'Showa x Laughter x Mental'.
shogo-san writes articles about habits and introduces recommended note writers. He himself has been posting for 1,111 consecutive days. Amazing, right? Both of them are popular.
So, thank you for listening to the Stand.fm. This was Yasu, your sweetheart of the airwaves.
Many people participating in the '66-Day Writing' challenge project I started were listening. I'm grateful. Stand.fm has a feature where you can send comments, right? I can read them in real-time. I'm worried if I answered all the questions asked there.
I received an offer from Arkun to talk about 'continuity and habituation,' but for some reason, I ended up talking about something completely unrelated, saying 'I heard Tunnels are doing a live show for the first time in 29 years,' and it was chaos. I talked about Tunnels for about 10 minutes. By the way, I'm not a Tunnels fan. (Eh?!) I do like them, though.
◆
I can't write. I have nothing to write about.
If you were doing daily updates, you'd probably despair.
That's why I'm giving you a tool as a gift.
I arranged the 'Mandala Chart' and 'Open Window 64,' which became famous thanks to Shohei Ohtani, and invented the 'Note Mandala' for writing. Yes, I invented it. Sorry if someone is already doing it. The meaning of 'note' here is 'to pay attention'.
I will write in the style of Tsubasa Ito, the champion of the sitemap world. Tsubasa Ito is the person who spread sitemap culture on note all at once. His writing is also rhythmic and easy to read. I'm writing by imitating Tsubasa-san, but I'll probably fail. Please don't mind it.
When I went to check Tsubasa Ito's article, he was doing a Mandala Chart. Eh.
It was no longer my discovery. We-well, the purpose is a bit different, so I'll continue.
First, please prepare paper. Paper to write on. I use A4.
Did you prepare it?
......No, you didn't, right?
Well, whatever. I'll continue.
In the center, write 'Write'. This is common for everyone: 'Write'. You don't need to show your personality here. Please stop with the off-base jokes like 'Me'.

I suddenly forgot the character for 'write' (sho) and am faking it. I'm scribbling it.
Then, enclose it like the character 'Well'. The reason I don't make it like a 'rice field' (ta) is because it feels like it would narrow the scope of my thinking. It's just a mood.

(Ah, I realized when I started writing this article. Today's article will be long.)
Eight squares have been created around 'Write'.
Then, fill those squares with 'things you want to write about/things you want to make into articles'. It's okay to be rough. Think in large frames. Like 'About XX', like a big heading. For those who say 'I don't even have 8!', 'things you want to read' is also fine. For those who are already continuing note, it's the genre you are posting about.

I wrote it.
Then, place the 8 words you wrote in the squares in the center again, and do the same thing.

Fill the squares again. Next, write what you associate with the words/sentences placed in the center. If you do this, you will think deeply, like 'What does it mean to be useless? In the first place? For example?'

Keep filling them in. Do it for each of the 8.

I'm tired.

Well, I'm stopping because I'm tired, but what I'm doing here is 'digging deep'. If you write an article from the first 8 squares, it's shallow. It's too broad to write easily with just this. Even if you write it, the content is thin.
If you dig deep, deep into 'what you want to write about,' you can write a unique article.
Writing it on paper like this becomes a trigger for thinking. It feels like your thoughts deepen further from what is written.
I was always doing this in my head. But it was easier to understand when I wrote it on paper. Because you can see the process of thinking.
If you keep increasing the 'wells' more and more, your thinking will deepen even more. From the first 8, another 8. A method of further increasing the 8 that came out. Because it spreads like a spider web.
The paper spreads, but the thinking deepens. And if you keep making squares and filling them in, probably
squares with similar words/sentences will appear. That's fine. That's the best gift. Please circle them in red.Even though you were thinking about things that seemed unrelated at first glance, if you dig deep, they suddenly connect.
Now, you've found the elements to write an interesting essay. They've been born. It's your own discovery.
According to writer Tomomi Sato, author of 'I Want to Do Writing Work' and 'I Want to Publish a Book,' and Ririko, the editor who made that book, 'the essential element for an interesting essay is the combination.' Find commonalities from things that don't seem to connect, or are similar.
Writing is thinking. You can write because you think. The tool for thinking, the tool for deepening thoughts, the tool for finding combinations of one phenomenon and another is this '
Note Mandala'.Give it a try.
Thank you for coming to read today as well. I wrote that the meaning of note is 'to pay attention'. Pay attention to your thoughts. Once you complete the Note Mandala, it's a treasure of thoughts.
