Live Performance Viewing Records (2022/08/08–08/14)

These are notes on the live performances I attended.
They are mostly for my own memory, but please feel free to take a look.

This record covers the period from August 8 (Mon) to August 14 (Sun), 2022.

Impressions

"TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2022 (Day 1)" (2022/08/05) since then.

It's fun to have a 40-minute solo live show starting in the daytime on a holiday.
This was my second time seeing the new song (LADY GO) since its debut.
It makes me want to copy the choreography, so I want to see it more often to learn it.

The flow from "Kimi Boku -> Yoru Ni" to "Kairi -> nausea" is something you can only experience at a solo show.
It's a structure I really like, so I want to see it again when I have the chance.

Hoshina Rin, who had been resting earlier in the week due to poor health, has returned.
I'm just glad to see her looking well at the live show.
That said, the days continue to be hot and humid, so please take care of yourself...

The special event featured animal-themed costumes (mostly ears).
They weren't as fluffy as I expected, so I hope they plan this again during a cooler season.

Impressions

"TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2022 (Day 1)" (2022/08/05) since then.

After seeing them on two stages at TIF, I was really hyped for this solo show and 1-hour live performance.
It was fun to experience the density that only a solo show can provide.
I was very satisfied to hear songs that aren't performed much at joint gigs (like Richi Richi, Yasashisa no Baton, and Yurari Sora).
There was plenty of time for MC, and it was nice to be able to feel the personalities and relationships of the members.

My frequency of attending live shows has increased over the past few months, and I feel like they've become much closer to me.
I want to continue going to see their live shows regularly from now on.

A stage packed with these topics.

The setlist focused on summer songs and closed with "ESCAPiSM → RIOT PARTY" at the end.
It made me imagine the scene at the one-man live, and I was excited.
I'm looking forward to October 25th even more now.

Next time is Yuuki-san's birthday celebration.
I want to celebrate with all my might so it becomes a wonderful day.

Brief notes on other groups

・Daremo Shiranai.
First time seeing them.
A five-member group of new-sensation rock idols based in Nagoya.

The level of their performance was high, and I was drawn in even though it was my first time.
They really made LIQUIDROOM their own, which was impressive.
I have another chance to see them this weekend, so I'm looking forward to it.

・Kinopo.
"Cho NATSUZOME 2022" (2022/07/02) since then.

It's been about 4 months since I last watched them properly.
It was a performance where I could feel they are steadily leveling up.
I especially felt an improvement in their expressiveness in facial expressions and dance for each song and part.

In terms of the venues I frequent, they seem close yet far, so I surprisingly don't have many chances to see them.
I have a desire to see them regularly, so I hope the next opportunity isn't too far off.

situasion 3rd ONE MAN LIVE "Zen Shoujo Undou" (2022/06/16) since then.

Since some time had passed since the last time, I watched while recalling their worldview.
I thought it might be good to increase the frequency a little more until it becomes established within me.

Starting with "embryo" is fresh.
I was surprised, including the movement of leaving the stage once.

First time watching "PUNK DOLL" live.
It's a very "situasion-like" song, and it felt perfect as the de facto first song.
It was interesting that the part where they take selfies was actually filmed and uploaded.

・Ringwanderung
Since "Reading Extrome!!" (2022/05/21-22).It has been about two and a half months since I last saw them.

During this time, there were two major topics for the group: "Myon-san's return" and the "TIF Main Stage Battle."
(A joint tour with situasion might also be included.)
I watched them without having seen those developments (I missed them).

My honest impression was one of surprise: "They've powered up so much I can barely recognize them!"
Rather than a simple power-up, it felt like they had moved up a whole level in quality.
It was a stage that made me feel once again the meaning and value for an idol group of facing milestone events and major goals.

・FRUITS ZIPPER
Since "Fellipin Expo 2022" (2022/06/10), this is my second time.There were many audience members there for FRUITS ZIPPER, and I could really feel the group's momentum.

Catchy songs and a performance overflowing with glamour and cuteness.
I felt they were more refined than when I saw them two months ago.
It's amazing that the venue for their 1st solo concert is the same LIQUIDROOM as today.

Since "TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2022 (Day 1)" (2022/08/05).In addition to the lingering excitement of being able to see two stages at TIF, there was a good amount of space in the back, which allowed me to copy the choreography with all my might, making it incredibly fun.

The flow in the latter half, "Cessna -> Atsui Night Blue," was especially good.

The development where you think it's going to end with Cessna, but then it gets hyped up again, is intense.
The timing is hard to match, but I'd like to aim to participate in a solo performance or one-man concert.

Held in two parts for the day.
Part 1 was a joint concert, and Part 2 was a THE ORCHESTRA TOKYO solo performance.

Maimai, Koharu

A unit consisting of today's protagonist, Mao Yuki, and former SOL member Koharu.

Today (8/13) is Koharu's actual birthday.
A bouquet was presented by Yuki and volunteer fans.
It was heartwarming to see them celebrating each other.

They performed SOL songs.
Given their characters, I thought "Konya, Kimi no Neko ni Natte" might be included, but I didn't expect "Stargazer" to come up, so my excitement peaked the moment the song was introduced.

To be able to hear SOL songs at the same place (Daikanyama UNIT) where the "#NatsuSol Tour Sono-Owari" was held at the end of last August, with one of the original members participating...
I jumped more than I even expected myself to.

I felt like I was the one who received a birthday present.
Thank you so much...

Since "iCON DOLL LOUNGE 2022 Tomeihan COLLECTION TOUR in TOKYO" (2022/08/11).Started with "FAMiLiAR" and ended with "Tokyo Parade."

A setlist with a special feel, fitting for a birthday celebration.
The composition that made you feel the changing of the seasons, "Mermaid Ocean -> Hotaru -> Sakurane," was also good.
It was a stage that made me look forward to the birthday celebration in Part 2 even more.

・Daremo Shiranai.
Since "iCON DOLL LOUNGE 2022 Tomeihan COLLECTION TOUR in TOKYO" (2022/08/11), this is my second time.There were many songs I heard the day before yesterday, so I was able to copy the choreography reasonably well and enjoyed it.

They are good at hyping up the crowd, so it's easy to get excited naturally.
It was a good stage that matched well with the sound and lighting at UNIT.
I thought I'd like to see them live again soon.

Since "Spellbound" (2022/06/25), this is my second time.I heard that they received an offer to perform because the producer, Korone Toda, used to be in the same group as Yuki-san.

As a fan, it's nice to see those kinds of connections (relationships).
Unfortunately, Korone Toda is

taking a break due to poor health,so they performed with 6 members today.They performed songs that focused on coolness in the first half and cuteness after the MC.

And the final composition was cool again.
It was exactly in line with the "WILD & GLAM" concept, and even though it was my second time, I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

A joint gig organized by "Eight One."
The performers were four groups: "Chick-flick," "Hisui Kiseki," "Hiyorna," and "Manimani."

Chick-flick Presents "Side Story" <story No.4> (2022/08/06)Since then.

A 25-minute set, 6 songs including SE and MC.
Chick-flick's worldview was condensed as much as possible.
A setlist that makes you think, "Is this the new standard for Chick-flick?!"

I realized the strength of being able to line up short songs like "bruise" and "Full House."
Including "Noble Rose," I think having many options for time adjustment is a powerful weapon.

A new system after the solo concert.
I have the impression that the live performances are becoming more and more fun.
I'm looking forward to seeing how they evolve toward the next solo concert.

Kobato-san participated in a Comiket circle and a live show the day before.
Today she did general attendance at Comiket and a live show; it's amazing that she spent two tough days.
In the midst of that, I am grateful that she showed us such a fun performance.

5th song "Entremet amour"
I'm so happy I could hear it consecutively, last time and this time.
Today, too, it was wonderful work, connecting SHT and Full House beautifully.

6th song "Full House"
I thought it would end with "Entremet amour" based on the time, so I was really excited when "Full House" started playing.
I felt once again that it is a song that suits the finale.
I have a feeling that if they perform it repeatedly, it will become an even more exciting song.

Brief notes on other groups

・Hiyorna
First time seeing them.
A 7-member group that debuted in February this year.
The group name includes thoughts like "Don't be swayed by the powerful, don't be scared" and "Running out from being an idol fledgling."

Songs with a sense of speed, and choreography that is easy to copy along with.
With the numerical power of being a 7-member group, it was a fun stage.
Since photography is allowed, I'd like to try taking pictures if I have the chance to see them again.

・Hisui Kiseki
"Cho NATSUZOME 2022" (2022/07/02)Since then.
Second time watching their new system live.

About a month has passed since the new system.
I felt that their stage as a 5-member group is being steadily built.
I realized once again that the depth added to the front and back formations by going from 3 to 5 members will likely be a strength of the current system.
Nakaya-san's big sister vibe was good, and the new members also had a sense of security with their grounded performance.

Nazuna Fujisaki was absent, so it was a 4-member performance.
Manimani songs, which I haven't heard in a while, are still great.
I thought once again that there are few others who perform with such emotion from the members.
