There is no such thing as someone who 'cannot continue muscle training or exercise'! However, that is only if you are moving correctly💖
I was thinking recently that
there are actually a lot of people who feel like they 'cannot keep up with muscle training or exercise'.
But what I have been thinking lately is that perhaps there is no such thing as someone who cannot continue exercising.
For example, people who are bedridden in hospitals or nursing facilities certainly do not move their bodies much.
However, the nurses and caregivers who support those people are naturally moving their bodies in their daily work. I think that is exactly what muscle training and exercise are💪🌸
And it is the same for everyone else.
Even if you do not go to the gym, as long as you are not bedridden,
everyone is always using their body to live in their daily life.
As long as we are on Earth, we are always living while feeling gravity🌍
In other words, even just standing or sitting, your body is constantly using small muscles while maintaining balance.
In short,
'Being alive' itself is already muscle training and exercise✨

🚶♀️Just by viewing daily life as exercise, both your body and mind will change
For example,
・Walking to the station for your commute
・Standing for a long time while shopping
・Standing up and sitting down while doing housework
Just by being conscious that these are all 'exercise' rather than just 'moving around,' the way you use your body will change, and your mindset will become more positive🌸
The reason many people feel like they 'are not exercising' is because they think of exercise as something like doing an hour of muscle training at the gym or making sure to set aside time for walking,
which I believe is because they think of 'exercise' as something separate from daily life
But in reality, we are properly moving our bodies every day✨
However, what I also think is that how you consciously treat those daily movements as exercise is the key to building a healthy body🌿💗
The idea of quantity alone, such as 'I will move for 10 more minutes' or 'I will just move a lot,' rarely produces the true effects of muscle training or exercise.
This is because exercise is determined not by how much you do, but by how you move
It only becomes exercise when you handle your body correctly.
If you just move, it ends up being nothing more than locomotion.

🌷The consciousness of 'handling correctly' changes the body
The meaning of any movement changes depending on how you use your body.
Even with the same 'standing,' if you align your posture, support yourself with your core, and stand while releasing unnecessary tension,
that moment becomes posture training.
Even with the same 'walking,' if you are conscious of the muscles you should be using and are walking correctly,
it becomes exercise.
But if you do it unconsciously, with habitual movements or biased posture, no matter how long you move, it will just be 'work' that puts a burden on your body.
That is why I think,
exercise is not 'moving the body,' but 'handling the body correctly'.
This consciousness is the essence of cultivating health.

🌸Rather than '10 more minutes,' 'be careful with this one moment'
Many people try to ensure their amount of exercise by increasing time or repetitions.
Of course that is important, but the results are determined by how you moved rather than how much you moved.
Your body will respond much better to one minute of handling your body correctly than to 10 minutes of moving sloppily.
Exercise is determined by the 'quality of consciousness,' not by time.
Whether or not you have that consciousness is what separates days spent just moving from days spent cultivating your body.

🌷The foundation of all movements lies in the 'squat'
Actually, almost all the movements we perform in our daily lives, such as 'standing, sitting, walking, crouching, and lifting,' involve the movement of the lower body.
And hidden at the root of those movements is
the movement of the 'squat' as we call it in training🌿✨
In other words, to turn daily life itself into training,
it is very important to first master the correct squat movement💗
By repeatedly performing correct squats, your body will naturally learn how to move correctly.
Then,
・When standing up
・When sitting down
・When lifting objects
・When climbing stairs
The correct way to use your body for squats will naturally appear in all of those movements🌸

🌼Let's start by 'moving correctly' first💖
By incorporating squats not just as 'strength training,' but as 'movements to learn how to use your body correctly,'
your body will become increasingly supple and change beautifully🌸
When performed with the correct form, it is the ultimate full-body exercise that protects your lower back and knees while strengthening your core and even improving your posture🌿
Through squats, let's acquire the sense of how to handle your body correctly💪💖

💫Squats based only on 'form' do not lead to true body building
Recently, you can see many squat videos and explanations on YouTube and social media.
Each has points regarding form, such as:
・'Do not let your knees go past your toes'
・'Do not arch your lower back'
・'Do not round your back'
Many such pieces of advice are introduced🌿
Of course, adjusting your outward form like this is important.
However, what is truly important is understanding the fundamental way of thinking behind the movement of a squat✨

🌷A true squat is performed to align the body
Many people try to imitate the 'correct shape' and only try to fix their posture on the surface.
But with that, you cannot understand the essence of how to move your body—such as how the muscles and joints inside your body work in coordination,
where you should apply force, how to move without putting unnecessary strain on yourself, and why squats are necessary for daily life movements.
In other words, squats that only fix the shape cannot be applied to daily life💦

🌼To master squats that are useful in daily life✨
A truly meaningful squat is
mastering movements that 'protect your body' and 'generate force efficiently' during daily activities🌿
To do that,
・Which muscles to use and how to move
・In which direction to transmit force
・How to perceive your body's center of gravity
You need to understand these internal sensations, which are the body's mechanisms💫
Instead of just viewing squats as strength training,
please try performing them as a lesson to align how you use your body🌿
I explain the essence of mastering squat form in this article, so if you are interested, please take a look.
And when you have mastered this awareness and movement, for the first time, every movement in your daily life will become 'strength training or exercise.'

🌿Summary: Treating daily movements with care
In our daily lives, we repeat countless movements.
Adding the awareness of handling your body correctly to each and every one of them.
Just by doing that, casual daily life turns into training, turns into strength training, and turns into time to align your body.
Exercise is not something special. And moving is not the goal, but a means.
What is truly important is
the small awareness of 'how to handle your own body.'
That protects your health, cultivates beautiful posture,
and even aligns your mind🌸
