Any life can be material to help someone
Sometimes I feel envious of people with special stories
I think I have lived a fairly ordinary life myself.
Without any major failures or dramatic reversals of fortune, I safely became a company employee, got married, had two children, resigned, and became a sole proprietor.
Especially since becoming a sole proprietor, I have increasingly felt envious of people with "special stories." A life full of ups and downs that is truly like a drama. Stories of success or finding happiness after that.
I used to think, "It's nice to have such a strong pull!"
In fact, the person I met just yesterday was exactly like that. After having a glamorous career, getting married, and giving birth, she went through a divorce due to her husband's long-term affair, and even ended up homeless.
It has an impact, and she becomes a "memorable person" who cannot be forgotten, doesn't it?
*Of course, I know it is rude to say "It's nice to have a story with such a strong pull," as I know she went through a terribly difficult time.
It's similar to how a proper Type A person might admire a wild Type B person. (This is exactly my story, too. This is just my subjective view!)
Because I am ordinary, there are people I can reach
Thinking about that yesterday, it suddenly occurred to me. That there are people I can reach precisely because I am an "ordinary person."
For example, a life that looks smooth sailing from the outside. People who don't have any major complaints... but are actually turning a blind eye to things they really want to do or achieve. People who are telling themselves, "I'm just ordinary, this is all there is."
For such people, my story might resonate more.
For example, my story about realizing I have an HSP temperament, my minor worries about live streaming, or the story of how I steadily continued my YouTube channel and reached 1,000 subscribers. None of these may be "flashy," but they might be the catalyst for readers to think, "Maybe I can do it too."
Of course, in the same way, there are messages that only people with turbulent lives can convey. That is why I realized that everyone is one-of-a-kind, and the people we can reach are different.
Even in shojo manga, the protagonist is an "ordinary girl"
When I think back, aren't many protagonists in shojo manga "very ordinary girls"?
They weren't special from the beginning. But we are drawn to and encouraged by the way they grow little by little through their encounters.
It's the same with sharing content; it's not that you are empathized with because you have an "amazing past," but rather that there are things that get across precisely because you are on the "same level" as the audience.
The pain you feel now may one day be someone else's salvation.
It might take some time before you can turn your past into a "story."
But the moment you think, "This might be useful to someone," the meaning of that experience can change.
In fact, the reason I work in "communication" today is because all my past small realizations and struggles are connected.
For example, if you have had a period where you felt down, that experience might allow you to share things that resonate with others' feelings.
Even feeling like you "have nothing right now" might become a source of hope for someone in the future.
Summary: Every life has the power to reach someone.
Even if it's not dramatic, being "ordinary" is a strength.
Sharing your own story can help the hearts of those who are studying or those who are not.
Even painful things will eventually become a story.
Finally, about the talk LIVE I paid 400,000 yen for.
I made the blunder of forgetting to record the archive...
Even this is now just the best story, thinking, "I'm probably the only one who would do that!" (laughs)
I would be happy if you could read it below.
