[English/Korean] I want to compare the lyrics of BTS's 'NORMAL' [with Japanese translation]
The Korean version is finally here!!
|BTS's 5th full album 'ARIRANG' track, 'NORMAL'.
At the same time the MV was released on Spotify, the Korean version unveiled at the Busan concert was also released as a digital single album. How wonderful!
Regarding the single cut of 'NORMAL', overseas stores had leaked it, and there were whispers about it back in March, but it took quite a while until it actually arrived. I thought, 'It's finally here!'
Does this mean 'NORMAL' is in a position to be the 2nd single cut, either as a pre-release track or a second promotional track!? ( ﾟДﾟ)

By the way, how and where are the Korean lyrics different?
That is the main point. Where is it?
'NORMAL (Korean Ver.)' is written in both Korean and English, and the version where those Korean parts are translated into English was released earlier as the standard version of 'NORMAL'.
Wanting to know where the Korean parts are and how they differ is a natural feeling as an ARMY, right? ( *´艸｀)
So, I was making a lyric comparison table in Excel.
To commemorate the official release of 'NORMAL (Korean Ver.)' this time, I put it into Notion. I have to try out various ways to use it!
The English version, Korean version, and Japanese translation are lined up, and you can filter by 'Diff' to narrow down only the parts that are different. The translation is mine, so I can't guarantee it, but💦

I originally wrote all the lyrics in Korean first, but I changed them to English. Well, partly because of the radio.
So, there is probably a Korean version. The members all recorded it. There is a version made in Korean. I don't know if it will be released, though.

Like a couple in a toxic relationship who can't break up... that's how it feels with people on the outside and those who don't love us.
One day they lift us up, the next day they knock us down, it's a bit like 'raising a blue flag, lowering a white flag,' that kind of feeling. That is normal (for us). I wrote it with that feeling.
