[12th Anniversary] 12 Reasons You Can't Help But Love BTS [FESTA]
Hoseokjin Radio is now on air!
BTS FESTA, a dream season where new content is dropped one after another. How are you all doing, ARMY?
As someone who is naturally a night owl, I've easily adjusted to the 00:00 KST drops and am happily staying up until the wee hours of the morning. I should go to sleep.
Man, absorbing Bangtan is good for the body!
The number of Bangtan articles on note has increased all at once, and I get the feeling that ARMY, from babies to older sisters, have all started stirring at once. Our 'Spring Day' has finally come...!!
This time, I'd like to look back at the radio show by Bangtan's sun and moon, 2Seok = Hoseokjin. So this is what that emergency survey from a little while ago was for. Even though it was only open for 12 hours, they said they received 90,000 responses.
By the way, the order of the announcements is a little different from the order of the questions, so please keep that in mind.
We asked ARMY: '12 reasons you can't help but love BTS'
Q. As an ARMY, what title track would you recommend when introducing BTS?
🐹 'Dynamite': Because it's the most famous song. I want to explain them using a song the other person already knows.
🐿️ 'IDOL': Because you can feel BTS's individuality, and it's also well-known.
From ARMY: 'IDOL', 'RUN', 'Dynamite', 'No More Dream', 'ON'.
From the mysterious real-time messages: 'Spring Day' (from 'JIN and J-HOPE are idiots').
The episode where they said they had to change the choreography because everyone collapsed and couldn't get back up after dancing the full version of 'IDOL' for the first time is intense ( ;∀;)
I think the current version is still a pretty hard song, though...!

Jin-kun flatly refusing when the dance leader invites him to do the 'ON' dance challenge together lol
He said, 'We couldn't perform it properly, so I think we'll be able to show you someday,' but they absolutely crushed it as the first song at PTD On The Stage...!
He's so committed to the style of forgetting the past and living only in the present that it's actually refreshing lol
Q. As an ARMY, what is a hidden BTS gem that you want to keep as your own secret?
🐿️ 'Whalien 52': Because it's a song that sings about a good theme in a way that's uniquely BTS. The title is also good once you know the meaning.
🐹 'MAMA': Hobi explained the composition of wanting to dance with 100 choir members, and after hearing that and watching it, it really touched my heart.
From the playful back-and-forth of 'If Hyung says 'MAMA', then I'll bring out 'Awake'!', the two suddenly start singing 'Minneunge anya~'. Aaaah.
I've gotten quite used to it lately, but it's bad for my heart when they do it suddenly, so please spare me. Wait, you actually remember it ( ;∀;) You really do love it
From ARMY: 'Sea (hidden track)', '2! 3!', 'Heartbeat', 'So What', 'Where You From'.
'Heartbeat' is the soundtrack for the social game 'BTS World', which is currently streaming its second season. There's even an official MV, so if you haven't seen it, please check it out!
In the middle of the conversation, the moment Jin-kun said he couldn't remember the dance when asked to dance 'Dynamite' on a variety show recently, Hobi's dance leader persona descended.
'Jin, please stay behind after we finish today (unsmiling eyes)'

Oh no. With the dance leader's intensity combined with the assistant instructor's pressure, it's truly peerless. If this Hobi told me to do it, I'd have no choice but to run to the HYBE headquarters in Yongsan. I wonder if that reference even lands.
By the way, the reason Jin danced to 'Dynamite' in exchange for meat was 'Handsome Guys.' This show puts out videos in such tiny clips that it was a hassle to find...
Q. As an ARMY, what is your favorite BTS choreography (dance)?
🐿️ 'Dionysus': The composition of dancing while moving across the stage is really good
🐹 'ON': Because many ARMYs like hard-hitting dances
From ARMYs: 'DNA', 'Black Swan', 'FAKE LOVE', 'Save ME', 'I NEED U', 'Spine Breaker', 'MIC Drop'.
From mysterious real-time messages: 'MIC Drop' (from 'JIN is the oldest among J-HOPE and friends' brothers') and 'Run BTS' (from 'Choco Choco').
I was planning to move on, but the choreography leader who starts reading the 'Spine Breaker' post saying 'I have to read this!' is so lovable lol
It just played at MAGIC SHOP in Busan. That was perfect timing!
Here is a surprising fact. Is 'Super Tuna' Jin's only performance song!? (Loading...) ...It really is lol

Q. As an ARMY, if you could turn back time, which BTS concert would you absolutely want to go to?
🐹 'Rose Bowl Stadium': Their first stadium performance in the US
🐿️ 'Olympic Main Stadium': Their first stadium performance in Korea
Jin's choice is the 2019/5/4-5 performance of the 'LY/SY Tour'.
Hobi's choice is the 2018/8/25-26 performance of the 'LY Tour'.
I'll post my thoughts on the same tour performances that were close in time.
From ARMYs: 'The Red Bullet', 'LY/SY', 'MOS ON:E', 'THE WINGS'.
From mysterious real-time messages: 'First Showcase' (from '3D Master').
It seems Hobi had various ideas, like wanting to appear from the audience during 'Outro: Ego'. I wonder if that led to the audience interaction in 'Hope on the Stage'.
They said, 'I wonder if (these real-time messages) are coming from the members?' and 'I don't know,' so I can't help but feel that the spirit of Dalsok, who loves to surprise the host, is alive here too lol
Q. As an ARMY, what is one piece of original BTS content you want them to do again?
🐹 'BANGTAN LOG (Blog)': I miss seeing BTS talking about their casual daily lives.
From ARMY: "Bon Voyage", "Run BTS!", and foot volleyball.
From the mysterious real-time messages: "Bon Voyage / Run BTS! (from 'I want to do Bon Voyage')".
This is the own-goal scene by Jimin that Hobi remembered lol
Jin is apparently the only member who doesn't like traveling. He's the type who wants to stay home and play games, I get that. 👈 Misunderstanding. No, wait, maybe he's actually closer to it than that (counter-argument).
When asked, 'Aren't you going to do Run Jin Season 2?', Jin replied easily, 'If I do Season 2, I won't be able to do BTS activities,' pushing it off to his later years. I was shaking thinking that the plan to make Bangtan a lifelong content series is becoming a reality... lol
Q. As an ARMY, what is your favorite BTS catchphrase?
🐿️ "Lajibolala": It's more of a neologism than a catchphrase, isn't it?
🐹 "Ready, set, Bang! Tan!": I think that's fairly famous.
From ARMY: "Ready, set, Bang! Tan!", "Hello, we are BTS", "Today's choreography practice is canceled!", "Bangtan, Bangtan, Bang-Bangtan!", "ARMY FOREVER BANGTAN FOREVER (ApoBangPo)", "WWH", "I Purple You", "Uhamusaba (WINGS tour slogan - abbreviation for 'If we are together, even the desert becomes the sea')".
"International Pop-K Sensation Sunshine Rainbow Traditional Transfer USB Hub Shrimp BTS" is a Bon Voyage 2 reference, and it has left its mark on these incredible hashtags and the Run BTS pajama party too lol

Q. What is the music show stage that ARMY likes the most?
🐿️ "'Boy With Luv' and 'MIC Drop' at SNL": It was so much fun back then.
🐹 "'IDOL' at MMA": That was the completely traditional Korean music version, wasn't it?
From ARMY: "'IDOL' at MMA", "'For Youth' at Music Bank".
Apparently, you can watch Music Bank for free in the military. Do they have some kind of partnership?
The two said that every time BTS came on, people around them would say, 'Hoseok looks cool!' and 'Is this really Hyung (🐹)?'. Wait, what's with that difference lol
We'd love to hear recommendations from ARMY too!
Q. As an ARMY, if you were to convey your feelings using a line from a BTS song, which line would you choose?
🐿️ "Mikrokosmos": I like the lyrics and the song about how the stars in the night sky are the radiance we saw in each other.
🐹 "2! 3!": I like the lyrics that say, 'It's okay, let's forget it on the count of 1, 2, 3'.
From ARMY: "'I miss you' from 'Spring Day' and more," "'Together forever' from 'DNA' and more," "'You are the most special to me' from 'Telepathy' and more."

Thinking that these survey results might have been reflected in the setlist for 'Hope on the Stage FINAL'... it's deeply moving, isn't it? (*´艸`)
Q. What was the trigger that made you become an ARMY (i.e., got you hooked on BTS)?
*In the case of Bangtan, 'Are you a fan of anything now?'
🐿️ 'Skincare': I thought self-care was necessary to stay active for a long time.
🐹 'Running': Going outside and running makes me feel better.
From ARMY: 'I heard 'Take Two' by chance,' 'I was educated by my roommate,' 'The song was good so I looked them up,' etc.
Everyone met them at different times, haven't they?
In their home country, there seem to be many other ways of meeting them that we can't imagine in Japan, like 'reading about them in a biography at elementary school,' and I'd love to hold a training camp for a week and interview ARMY from all over the world!
Q. Please tell us about an interesting episode related to BTS that you have actually experienced.
This was 'happening' in the survey, but it's 'episode' in the video, isn't it?
From ARMY: 'I kept calling out the members' names while under anesthesia,' 'I blasted the Rajibolala Remix throughout the classroom,' 'I made a best friend through a BT21 mascot,' 'I explained them to my junior while showing them code with the members' names in it,' etc. The last one is an accident lol

It seems Hobi was trying to make a beat, but it's too funny. How much do you love it lol
They brushed it off by saying, 'That was such a cute memory,' but I wonder if a capable manager hyung could dig up that tablet from back then...

Jin-kun is so straightforward, saying he doesn't understand the psychology of people who pretend to be ordinary because he publicly declares what he likes lol
In this exchange, Hobi also seemed to be forming a hypothesis but didn't really grasp it. Please, Bangtan, stay just the way you are!
Q. Please tell us about an episode where you were encouraged by BTS.
This was 'comforted' in the survey, but it's 'encouraged' in the video. Maybe it's a translation nuance.
From ARMY: 'Listening to 'Paradise' helped me accept that it's okay to cherish my dreams,' 'BTS's songs and their graduation ceremony (Dear Class) gave me joy and light.'
The performance at Dear Class was also great, wasn't it? I love it!
Q. Please tell us about an episode of a happy moment you felt precisely because you are an ARMY who loves BTS.
ARMYs say: 'The moment we do the wave while waiting for the encore,' 'Every day that I get to live in the same era as such an amazing group and love them,' 'The fact that I can love BTS is happiness in itself,' and 'The moments I spend doing fan activities.'

At BTS concerts, there is a time called ARMY TIME before the encore, during which the boards ARMYs brought are shown on screen, and cheers and waves occur.
The members are changing costumes in the dressing room during this time, but it seems they watch it on the monitor.
Jin, who was very curious because he never had the chance to experience it directly, said that when he participated in the 'Hope on the Stage' Seoul concert, he finally witnessed ARMYs 'having fun and playing so cutely.'
He explained how the wave starts, and I learned something too. Oh, so that's how it is in their home country.

To J-Hope, who said, 'I'll try experiencing it at your tour, hyung!', Jin replied, 'If you fail, you'll probably stretch your philtrum and look at the staff seats.' I feel like he was slightly serious lol

Bang PD and I had a meeting recently. While Hobi was on tour.
He was full of praise for me. He said the concert composition was truly excellent, and it really came across that the performer himself had thought it through. He told me that he could clearly feel that Hobi had planned the stage composition rather than a director, and that he felt very proud, happy, and thought it was a very perfect concert, and I agreed.
Jin here seemed unable to hide his nervousness and pressure ahead of his solo tour. Sorry, I'll enjoy it at Kyocera. I'll thank you in advance. Thank you!
Messages from the members
In the middle, posts from the members were arriving in real-time, weren't they lol
They were supposed to be anonymous, but I wonder who is who?
JIN and J-HOPE are idiots
J-HOPE and the oldest among JIN's brothers
Choco Choco
3D Master
I want to do 'Bon Voyage'
Huh, I wonder who that is, I have no idea (monotone)
My guess is that it's 🐨🐱🐥🐰🐻 from the top.
I am part of the committee that won't forget 🐨 who kept saying 'Pabo hyung' in the 2021 FESTA video, so 1 is 🐨.
2 is 'the oldest among the members younger than Jin,' so in order, it's 🐱.
I don't know about 3, but 4 seems like 🐰 based on the content and '3D,' so by process of elimination, it's 🐥.
5 is the aurora, which he also mentioned on Suchwita, so it's 🐻.
By the way, it seems 2Seok's guesses were all wrong. What's up with that lol
About each other's tours
Hobi is about to face the final of his solo tour that started on 2/28, and Jin-kun is about to head out on his tour after running through the year with 'Run Jin'.

As a dynamic, it's super heart-wrenching to see a baton pass between the heroes who supported the military hiatus, but why are these brothers being so shy and hesitant with each other ( ゚Д゚)

If I were to indulge in some wild speculation, even if SOPE, the solo tour senior, gave advice, I have a feeling Jin-kun would break through everything with ideas from left field. Like, 'Ah, seriously, this is hard! I want to play games!' while screaming lol
Good luck, Jin-kun. ARMYs around the world are looking forward to it. Fighting!!
Radio content is the best
I'm very curious these days if the fact that 'Spring Day' was playing at the beginning was a grand spoiler for 'Hope on the Stage FINAL'.
It's great that they kept the video on while cutting the audio while the music was playing. It's the best to see the faces of 2Seok talking to each other!
I burst out laughing at Hoseok who accidentally started making a monitoring face in the middle. I wonder if they were playing an MV lol

Plus, at the end, the two of them were having a contest to dig up memories of the 'DNA' choreography. 2025 'DNA' by the thirty-something Bangtan Boys, what a treasure that would be.
Ah, someone call V, the BTS choreography library!!

Please do this again. We'll be waiting!!
