The wall in my job search was the final boss known as the interview.
I am right in the middle of job hunting.
So far, there is... no sign of anything being decided.
I can't see the path ahead, and my anxiety is growing.
And I'm becoming more and more timid.
"Maybe I'm not needed by society."
"Could it be that I'm incredibly bad at my job..."
How high-spec is everyone working in this world anyway, oh my god!!!!

Being rejected means I am lacking "something."
Those of you who always read my notes might have already noticed "what" that "something" I'm lacking is.
Is it possible that my "something" is being exposed after just talking for 20 minutes or so...?
If that's the case~~~~~.
It can't be helped!
Right now, I'm registered with a temp agency and clicking away to apply for jobs that interest me. *I'll skip why I'm looking for temp work this time.
For the most part, I don't even pass the agency's screening (internal selection).
The other day, I finally passed the screening, and since there was a job that seemed pretty good, I had an online meeting with the company's hiring managers (3 people), the agency representative, and myself.
I had been told by the agency representative that it wouldn't be as formal as an interview, and that it would basically be a session for asking and answering questions, so I was a little relieved.
But oh, how wrong I was.
As soon as the interview started, I was suddenly thrown a curveball.
Agency representative: "Well then, could you please explain a little about the skills in your resume that you can apply to this job?"
Huh...!!
What...
are you...
talking about...?
I had a preliminary meeting with my agent representative, and they were very much in a 'leave it to me' mode, telling me that smiling was the most important thing and that I should answer questions slowly and clearly.
I see, I thought, this really is different from a normal interview, and I felt completely at ease.
Feeling like I was on a big ship, I was completely flustered by a sudden beanball. I don't remember at all what kind of appeal I made, but in the end, at my wit's end, I activated my special move 'smile and bluff my way through it' and whispered this:
'Um..., is there anything else I can explain?' Hehe😅
I'm sure everyone there thought the same thing.
'How should I know?'
Even though I had written down my work history and things I could appeal on an A4 sheet of paper before the interview.
It all flew out the window.
I even forgot that I had prepared a script.
What about the preliminary meeting...?
I almost cursed the agent for a moment, but it was clearly my own fault for letting my guard down.
The me from back then who thought, 'I feel like I can do this!' Oh, how embarrassing🫣
Up until now, I've been on the side of giving advice to clients at work, and I'm the type who can speak quite bluntly even to the company president.
I've been an interviewer many times.
I'm sure there are people I've scared.
My face is scary, isn't it?
I get it.
A demon interviewer like me...
When it comes to myself, I'm completely hopeless.
How many more times will I have to experience this hellish battle...?
Just thinking about it drains my HP.
But I only have room to grow, and even if it's a beanball, I should have the guts and technique to hit a home run.
That's right, next time I get hit by a beanball, I'll say it.
#What are you talking about?
Ah, interviews are scary.
