The story of how I continued a content business I never even imagined in the AI era

The way of earning money called a content business
was something that
I hadn't even imagined until a little while ago

Creating your own content
and earning income from it

I thought that kind of way of working
was something done by people in another world
at most

But now
I continue to write on note every day

I have also been able to
release online courses to the world

What changed?
Today, I will write about that

The me from when I couldn't continue creating content

I originally worked in sales
and I was also quite bad with PCs

From there, I became an engineer
and as a side job, I was taking on
business efficiency improvement jobs
using a free tool called GASone by one

It was work I was grateful for, but
income is only generated
for the amount of time I spent working

The idea of having my own content
was something that
I didn't have at all at that time

Actually, once
I also tried my hand at blogging

Even though I started with enthusiasm
by about the third day
I couldn't think of anything to write
and I just quit

I intended to continue every day, but
I had used up everything I wanted to write
in two days

I ran out of topics

Just because of that
I felt that standing on the side of creating content
was impossible for me

Since I got a partner called AI

The flow changed
after I started using AI

Even when I can't think of topics
I can have it think with me

When I ask, "What should I write about today?"
it returns several angles for me.

I choose the one that fits my experience from among them
and expand from there.

When I want to organize
the order or structure of what I want to write,
it acts as a sounding board for me.

Even heavy tasks like
research or preliminary investigation
feel like they are being done together right beside me.

I write the text itself
in my own words.

But for the work leading up to that,
like brainstorming, organizing, and researching,
I no longer have to carry it all on my own.

That alone
has significantly lowered the hurdle
to continuing.

A partner I can easily consult with
is always right there beside me.

My feelings toward facing each day
have become much lighter.

If it weren't for AI,
I think I would have quit
this current pace a long time ago.

AI becomes a more reliable partner the more you "nurture" it

What I have been feeling strongly lately is
that AI can be nurtured to be uniquely your own.

For example, ChatGPT has
a memory function
that remembers our interactions.

As I gradually share things like my work,
my past experiences,
and the values I hold dear,
it gradually starts to click.

Because it remembers
what we talked about before,
I don't have to explain things
from scratch every time.

It feels like it is growing into a partner
that understands me.

With a partner nurtured in that way,
I feel like I can overcome walls
that I couldn't have crossed alone.

Rather than using it just as a tool,
continuously sharing my own insights and experiences
makes it a much more reassuring ally.

I am able to continue a way of working I never imagined

Thanks to AI,
I am now able to continue
a way of working called a content business,
which I had never even imagined before.

Writing a note every day,
creating a course,
if I were all alone,
I surely would have stopped somewhere along the way.

I thought I needed
special talents or
achievements I could boast about to others.

But when I actually tried it,
my own experiences and
the things I feel every day
became content just as they are.

A way of working that I thought
was only for a select few,
with AI by my side,
is something I can continue too.

Being able to think that way
was, for me,
the biggest change.

Why don't you try writing things down too?

If you feel like,
“I don't have any content,”
as a first step toward
raising AI to be your own personal partner,
try writing down just three things.

The first is
the tasks you repeat
almost every day.

The second is
the experiences or specific preferences
that only you have.

The third is
the obstacles you feel
are hard to overcome on your own.

Take these three things and give them to the AI,
and try moving forward together.

From there,
the creation of your own unique partner
begins.
