[Experience Report] Bali World Heritage Tour with VELTRA | Daily Itinerary and Honest Impressions
Hello! I'm risu🐿️, a travel-loving blogger.
This time, I participated in a one-day tour visiting World Heritage sites in Bali using
VELTRA, so I'm going to give you an honest review✍️.
I hope this will be helpful for those traveling to Bali🌺 or those considering using
VELTRA☺️✨.
✅Tour details for this trip

"Bali Sightseeing Tour Definitive Edition!"
・Tirta Empul Temple
・Besakih Temple
・Kintamani Highlands
・Uluwatu Temple
+ Kecak Dance
It's a full course with a private car, lunch included, and a Japanese-speaking guide!
We booked for our family of four the day before the tour.
There was a group discount, and it was about 22,000 yen per person.
▲ Also recommended together💁♀️
This article contains some PR.
7:00 AM Hotel Pickup
They came to pick us up at our hotel in the Nusa Dua area.

Since we booked for four people, the car was completely private🚗. We were accompanied by our
Japanese-speaking guide, Taman, an Indonesian local, and a driver. During the drive, Taman talked about:
・Bali's school system
・Hospital situation
・Local life
and many other things, so the travel time was enjoyable too⏰.

It was early in the morning, so the atmosphere was relaxed enough that we could have slept, but we decided to enjoy the scenery outside while traveling😘.
👉
Hearing these "real local stories" is one of the benefits of a tour.
Schedule provided in Japanese🗓️

You receive a paper with the day's itinerary written in Japanese.
However, in reality...
👉It often shifts quite a bit due to traffic or festivals (lol).
This is just a common occurrence overseas🤣.
8:40 Taman Ayun Temple

Parking and entrance fees are all included in the tour, so
I entered smoothly without doing anything✌️
Since it was early in the morning,
there were few people, making it very easy to see.
Furthermore...
👉the guide takes tons of photos for you
family tripsdon't often have many group photos,
so this was appreciated😆👏

10:00 Goa Gajah Cave

Here too, the guide handled all the tickets.
They also showed us hidden gems and photo spots,
which was very helpful💞

And here...
when I said "I want to ride the swing!"
👉they took us right there😂
This is the kind of flexibilityyou can only get with a private tour.
Last-minute addition: Swing photoshoot in a dress (11:50)

It wasn't in the plan, but we went to a photo spot.
💰Approx. 3,000 yen/person
・Dress rental
・Unlimited photos at 6 locations
Honestly, this was...
👉a great decision‼️‼️
You can take tons of Instagrammable photos📸

However...
👉It was incredibly hot (lol)
By the end, I was completely exhausted😂
If you aren't that interested in temples,
I think it's a good idea to spend your time on experiences like this◎
(It felt a bit like the guide was selling it, but the satisfaction level is high)

13:00 Lunch at Tegalalang Rice Terrace

Lunch while looking at the scenery.
✔ Choose from 4 types
✔ Includes drink & dessert
✔ Generous portions

However...
👉There are quite a few flies (lol)
But on the flip side, I really felt like I was
eating in Bali 🤣

14:00 Tirta Empul Temple

The place I was looking forward to most this time!👼
✔ Temple of the Water God
✔ Mystical atmosphere
There were few Japanese people,
and I got the impression there were many Western tourists 🧐
At a nearby souvenir shop,
👉 I haggled for a magnet (lol)
They keep trying to talk to you in Japanese 🤣
14:40 Coffee Plantation

Here you can have the famous
👉 Luwak coffee experience

✔ You can see the production process
✔ Roasting demonstration included
✔ You can taste it
I think it's irresistible for coffee lovers ❣️
I can't drink coffee, so I had tea, but...
👉I was surprised there were over 10 types‼️

The mangosteen tea was delicious, so
I bought some as a souvenir ✨
17:00 Chocolate Shop

"Jungle Gold Bali"
At this high-end chocolate shop,I tried a chocolate drink.(Included in the tour price.)

It wasn't as sweet as it looked, and
👉it's a flavor even those who don't like sweets can drink
However, the products are generally expensive,
so I didn't buy anything this time.
18:50 Uluwatu Temple
We didn't make it in time for the sunset due to traffic 😭
And here...
👉 There are tons of monkeys
They are genuinely scary, so be careful⚠️
19:15 Kecak Dance

This is the main event of the day!
The guide handled:
✔ Ticket arrangements
✔ Story explanations
✔ Seat reservations
👉We got amazing seats in the 3rd row from the front
Thank you, guide! 😭

This position would have been impossible if I had come on my own.
Furthermore, after the show...
👉 Avoided the super crowded restrooms
They guided us to the staff-only restrooms🙏
Thank you, guide! 😭
21:30 Returned to the hotel

Since about 800 people leave all at once, there is quite a traffic jam.
👉Honestly, it's tough to arrange a Grab or taxi on your own😓
This was the moment I felt really glad I booked a tour.
Finally, I gave a tip to the guide and driver, and that was it.
(It's not mandatory, but it's a nice gesture)
