The Center for Research on Psychological Support for Working People at the University of Tsukuba is a research hub that addresses the challenges of "working people" through psychological support in industry-academia-government collaboration, based on over 30 years of accumulated research in counseling and psychology. As we mark our 8th year since our establishment in 2018, we have created a space to share our activities widely with society for a full day, focusing on the case studies we have accumulated through joint research and academic guidance with companies.

The day will begin with a keynote speech by Mr. Mitsuyo Hanada (Professor Emeritus, Keio University; Representative Director, Japan Association of Career Advisors), a leading expert in industry-university co-creation. This will be followed by a special lecture on a co-creation project between a company and our center, presentations of case studies of initiatives with companies by each unit, and research posters presented by graduates of our professional graduate school, which forms the research foundation of our center.

Anyone interested in the challenges of working people is welcome to attend, including those in charge of human resources, human resource development, and career support at companies, as well as those in management.

"What does it mean to work with a university to solve the challenges of working people?" The event is structured so that you can take home a three-dimensional understanding through theory, practical examples, and voices from the field.

We look forward to seeing you at the venue, all of you who are involved in HR, human resource development, and career support, supporting working people in companies.

Participation is by advance registration on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are increasing. Please register as soon as possible.
