Favorite Stationery Shops: Osaka Edition

1. WAKI STATIONERY

A long-established store founded in 1926, located near the Shotengai shopping street in the Fukushima area of Osaka. As an influencer in the stationery world, their online shop is also very comprehensive. At the physical store, they feature the same usage examples and displays that are familiar from their online shop. Concrete ideas on how to use planners and notebooks are presented alongside the products, making it a great place to choose items while checking their usability.

2. G stationery DELTA

Located in the Dojima business district, this select shop is based on the concept of "stationery as a gift." It is known not only for business-oriented writing instruments but also for its extremely extensive selection of fountain pen inks. With a wide range of domestic and international brands, it is a must-visit spot for those who enjoy choosing inks.

3. DELFONICS

A manufacturer-operated store located on the first floor of the Nakanoshima Festival Plaza. Centered on original products with functional and timeless designs, such as the "Rollbahn" series, the store also carries stationery and tools selected from both Japan and abroad. It is a suitable shop when you are looking for practical tools that are easy to use in both the office and at home.

4. Itoya Umeda Hankyu Store

Located within "Umeda SOUQ" on the 10th floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store in the heart of Umeda. This is a corner within the department store that has been renewed as an Itoya. It is said that you can shop in a space that is well-organized with a department store-like balance, ranging from standard stationery to seasonal cards and high-quality writing instruments. (*I have not visited since it changed to Itoya, so this is hearsay. Sorry.)

5. Itoya Grand Front Store

A store located in the North Building of Grand Front Osaka, directly connected to JR Osaka Station. This location offers a more spacious environment and handles a wide range of items, from everyday stationery to tools for creative work. Its location, which is easy to stop by during work or while on the move, is also a plus.

6. Umeda Tsutaya Books (inside LUCUA 1100)

Located on the 9th floor of LUCUA 1100, directly connected to JR Osaka Station, this store handles stationery in a space surrounded by vast bookshelves. It features carefully selected stationery chosen by concierges and slightly unusual miscellaneous goods. It is open late at night, making it convenient to stop by while doing other shopping or reading.

7. Stationery Aura

A store located inside Shin-Osaka Station (Arde Shin-Osaka). Despite its location inside the station, the stationery lineup is very extensive. It is a convenient shop where you can efficiently check everything from necessary office supplies to the latest stationery while waiting for the Shinkansen. *I didn't have a good photo, so I will take one later.
