I also learned a lot from her 'Reverse FIRE'.

My work this time is 'Love is Like a Revolving Lantern'.

Actually, this title is an homage to one of my favorite manga.

Jun Mayuki's masterpiece, 'After the Rain'.

It's a super pure love story that makes your heart flutter, about a high school girl who was a track star but gave up running due to an injury, falling in love with the dull manager of a family restaurant—the age gap between the two is just irresistible.

I love this work so much, I can't get enough of it.
There are so many beautiful descriptions that feel like watching a scene from a movie; it's very literary.

Of course, I bought and read the entire original series.
I also watched the anime and have it saved as a permanent collection.
I got hooked on the theme songs sung by CHiCO with HoneyWorks and Aimer, and I definitely bought the CDs too.
I even went to see the movie version.

I love the work that much, but please note that my work and 'After the Rain' are completely different in content.

'The 1st Kindle Forest Literary Award' is now being held!

This month's theme is 'Revolving Lantern'.

'Wow, what is that? That's super difficult!'
That was my honest reaction.
It's a pretty sophisticated theme, isn't it? And deep!

When you think of a 'revolving lantern'...

Since the image of 'a phenomenon where memories of one's life flash back all at once at the moment of standing on the brink of death' is already ingrained, I thought things like 'life and death' or 'views on life' would appear directly.

It really has a 'literary' scent all over it, doesn't it?
It's a great theme that fits 'Electronic Literature' perfectly.

'Now, what kind of revolving lantern will I see?'
I turned the pages with excitement and read all the works.

'Wait, this kind of ending?'
'This angle is so fresh.'

Man, every single work was interesting without exception!

In this month's issue, 'The 1st Kindle Forest Literary Award' is being held.

Yes, it's a story about a near-death experience seen by a foolish woman who is a magnet for deadbeat men.

The theme is "Sakamoto Ryoma," they say.
Isn't that a super difficult theme for someone like me who has little interest in history and is completely clueless about it?

Well then, what shall I write?

To begin with, I actually don't know much about who "Sakamoto Ryoma" was or what he did.
I started by researching that, but in my head, the story has already started moving on its own.

"Sakamoto Ryoma" as depicted by someone who isn't well-versed in history.
What kind of thing will it turn out to be? I can't even imagine it myself.
