#0 A Guide to My Note for Dried-Fish Girls | A Self-Introduction with 'Whatever' Philosophy, Health & Lifestyle, and a Relaxed Site Map
✏️ Welcome to my note (Self-introduction with a relaxed site map)
🧖♀️ About the person behind the screen (Relaxed version)
I live in a quiet place in the Japanese countryside, surrounded by rice fields and farms.
My job is something like a public servant with medical qualifications, such as a nurse or public health nurse.
There are days when I think, 'I'm more worried about my own HP than other people's health, you know?'
My personality is the type that gets tired just from breathing, but I try to make life fun and interesting.
I live with a 'whatever' spirit—a dried-fish girl who leans toward being an optimist.
I like books, visiting roadside stations, hot springs, and fluffy things.
I'm not good at socializing, cleaning, the sun, and phone calls (my HP drops to zero if one rings suddenly).
Lately, my current obsessions are zoning out at Starbucks and
reading various people's articles on note instead of reading books.
My obsessions change depending on the temperature.
🧩 How to navigate my note (Category map)
My note is a relaxed map where the recommended reading changes based on my HP and the atmospheric pressure of the day.
Feel free to start wherever you feel like.
🍣 1. Stomach Log
Theme: Food, eating out, reward meals, and roadside station loot
When to read: When your HP is at 30% and you want to be brought back to life by eating
What I write about:
* Where the local specialties I bought at roadside stations end up
* Stories about days saved by seafood, sweets, and Starbucks
* Records of 'what I ate on a tough day'
Example: Seafood bento from Takashimaya and LeTAO sweets
💭 2. 'Whatever' Philosophy
Theme: Small daily realizations and laid-back thinking
When to read: As an emergency exit when your heart feels rough
What I write about:
* Philosophy that suddenly came to me at Starbucks
* Stories about how 'you can't become someone else even if you envy them'
* Moments when I was saved by reading articles on note
Example: The retirement money table and the feelings in the drawer
🧺 3. Slacker Log
Theme: Life on days when my motivation has evaporated
When to read: On days when you realize life isn't over just because you can't clean up
What I write about:
* Stories about having my HP drained by phone calls, socializing, and cleaning
* Reports on a dried-fish girl's 'zero-motivation day'
Example: A day that ends with the satisfaction of just hanging out the laundry
💊 4. Doing Okay, Bit by Bit
Theme: Health, illness, and slow recovery
When to read: As a detour on days when you're not pushing yourself
What I write about:
* Stories about calmly facing lifelong struggles + malignant lymphoma
* Things I thought about while waiting at the hospital
* Notes on living quietly
Example: Hospital waiting times feel like a microcosm of life
🌱 5. Relaxed Self-Growth
Theme: Small challenges and slow progress
When to read: On days when you have 2mm of motivation
What I write about:
* Stories about moving something I 'intended to do' by just 1mm
* Records of feeling like I'm moving forward even if I can't do it perfectly
Example: The U-CAN cardboard box, still keeping the future locked inside
🐌 How I became a dried-fish girl (including dark history)
I grew up in an environment where the line between good and bad was unclear.
Even so, there were people who weren't related to me by blood who tried their best to teach me 'this is what normal is,' and I feel like I've managed to become a 'dried-fish girl who mimics being normal' after all.
There were many times when crying or asking for help didn't change anything, and there were places I wanted to escape from but couldn't.
Time just moves on mercilessly.
So one day, I suddenly thought,
'If I'm going to spend the same amount of time anyway, isn't it better to be laughing than crying?' You know?
You can't become someone else even if you envy them, and
since I gave up on many things a long time ago,
I settled into a way of life where I 'only pick up the moments I can think of as happy.'
The breeze coming in through the window after a bath during the day.
Just by touching that moment,
I can think, 'Ah, I'm okay.'
That's how I became a dried-fish girl.
It's not bad, actually. It's easier to breathe.
🌿 My current life and a comfortable distance
Now, I live in a quiet countryside, walking slowly between a life without pushing myself and the reality of work.
● How I deal with my health
My body has always been in a tough state, with many conditions I was born with that won't heal.
Recently, I also developed malignant lymphoma, and my reaction was just, 'Ah, here we go again.'
I think people who recover are lucky, but there's no point in envying them, so I just take it in stride.
● Work and Rest
My job as a public servant carries heavy responsibilities, but ever since I learned to 'not carry it all,' breathing has become easier.
Rest isn't slacking off; it's a survival strategy.
● Rules for Not Overdoing It
* Only use the phone when necessary
* Socializing depends on my energy levels
* Accept days with zero motivation as they are
* Prioritize my own pace
● Weaknesses I've Recently Accepted
The idea that 'you don't have to do everything perfectly.'
It's easier to live when you don't hide your weaknesses but quietly carry them with you.
I feel like I've gotten better at picking up small joys.
The breeze after a bath, an afternoon at Starbucks, gentle writing.
If I have things like that, I can keep living.
💌 To You, the Reader
Thank you for reading this far.
My note isn't a place to write about grand things, but rather something like'a record of a dried-fish girl who somehow managed to live through today'.
Whether your energy is at half or zero,
or even on days when you're just clutching your smartphone in bed,
it's enough if you just happen to stop by here.
Since I have those kinds of days all the time,
I can't tell you to force yourself to look forward,
but I hope I can leave behind words that feel like a small breeze.
If you feel like it, feel free to drop by and read anytime.
🧸 About My Update Pace
My update pace depends on atmospheric pressure, physical strength, and my mood.
I might write a few posts on days when I'm feeling well,
and update them loosely later on.
There are days when I suddenly disappear, but
I'm usually just being sucked into my futon,
soaking up the breeze outside,
or just zoning out at Starbucks, so don't worry.
I'll keep up the 'write when I want to write' approach in a relaxed way.
Since I'm a dried fish, I sometimes dry out, and sometimes I rehydrate.

So, for the New Year of 2026, I created a self-introduction that I hadn't made before.
I'd like to update it from time to time. 2026.1.1
