Multilingual support for note starts on 5/27 💛 Introducing the steps to turn automatic translation on/off
note will begin automatic multilingual support starting May 27th!
I have summarized note's initiative here.
Starting with English support for approximately 20,000 articles
Currently, English support has begun for 20,000 articles from creators who applied in advance.
It was announced that the number of supported languages will be increased sequentially starting this spring.
How to display the English version of an article
By adding "?hl=en" to the end of an article URL, the English version of that article will be displayed.

Improving while verifying
For 100 articles per user for those in the early access group, totaling 20,000 articles, they will be monitoring translation accuracy, how they are read, and reactions from overseas to guide future improvements.
Improvements and requests regarding note features can be made from note feedback and
other inquiries can be made from the request submission form.
Automatic multilingual support releases on 5/27!
"Automatic multilingual support," which allows you to deliver articles written in Japanese on note directly to readers around the world, will start on Wednesday, May 27, 2026!
How to change multilingual support settings
Regarding multilingual support for articles, you can change the settings for your entire account from "Settings".

By default in note settings, "Automatic article translation" is turned ON.

If you turn it off, articles will no longer be automatically translated.

How to change settings for each article
You can also choose whether or not to automatically translate each article.

When you click "Proceed to publish" in the top right, there is an "Advanced settings" section at the bottom.

The "Automatic article translation" setting is turned on by default.

You can also switch the "Automatic article translation" setting to off.
On this screen, you can also toggle the "Participate in the AI training compensation program" setting and change comment acceptance settings.
It's amazing that articles written in Japanese can be automatically made multilingual!
I look forward to the day when content reaches people all over the world 😊
