Once you can target top Google search rankings with SEO, it becomes easy to earn money in many ways
Hello, this is Shichau Ojisan (hereinafter referred to as "Shicha-Oji").
"Lately, Shicha-Oji seems to have gone on a long vacation to Ishigaki Island because it's cold, and he seems to be obsessed with playing with cryptocurrency and NFTs while neglecting his business. I wonder if he finally gave up on his note because it wasn't going well..."
You might be worried about me, but (actually) as of March 15th (Wed) this month, my monthly sales on note have hit an all-time high, and I am steadily growing my note as a self-media platform at my own pace, just as I had carefully envisioned from the beginning (surprising, right?).
There are still accounts here and there that look like they are "making money on note," but almost all of them are scammers using position talk. It is very easy to tell the difference between "truth or lie" by judging them with the question, "So, where are you getting your traffic from?"
I hope there are no suckers here on note who think that "mutual following" or "mutual purchasing & mutual recommendations," which are touted by marketing amateurs, count as "traffic acquisition," but if you do these things, your note is "Yes! Game over."
To put the difference in operational policy between such general creators and "Shicha-Oji" simply, general creators mainly use note as an SNS media, whereas "Shicha-Oji" mainly uses note as a blog media.
When using note as an SNS media, interaction between users is the main focus, so "mutual following" and "mutual purchasing & mutual recommendations" are part of what is called interaction, and the articles you post on note can (to put it bluntly) be hobby diaries.
You can post every day (continuous posting) as much as possible, even if it's just at the level of a Twitter tweet, and you can enjoy mutual communication in the comment sections of each other's articles, and you can also be strangely satisfied by recommending each other's articles (even though no one reads them seriously).
However, when using note as a blog media, the main focus is on providing value rather than interaction, so if you post a self-satisfying hobby diary, no one will read it.
Creators who focus on interaction (because they mistake the richness of communication for the evaluation of their articles) can never objectively grasp their own note, so there is no growth or success, but creators who focus on providing value will eventually receive solid evaluation from readers and the Google search engine.
For example, when my note updates stall a little, comments and views on past articles increase, and sales of paid articles released in the past grow. This is proof that because there are no new articles to look forward to, people are going back and reading past articles.
Also, basically, when I post a new article, I can often achieve a top Google search ranking for some targeted search keyword, so even if the number of monthly posts is small, "free, automatic, and continuous" new traffic from search engines continues to increase.
In February and March, I posted several articles about Bitcoin (BTC) Ordinal NFTs. For example, when I Googled the search keyword "BTC Ordinal NFT" last night (March 29, 2023), the search results (SERPs) were as follows.
*
✅ Search results for "BTC Ordinal NFT" (March 29, 2023)

*
Mixed in with articles from major news media that anyone interested in cryptocurrency would know, two of my articles are listed on the first page of search results!
Next, when I Googled the search keyword "BTC Ordinal NFT wallet," the search results (SERPs) were as follows.
*
✅ Search results for "BTC Ordinal NFT wallet" (March 29, 2023)

*
For these search keywords, "Shichaoji" articles are proudly ranked 1st and 2nd in the search results, beating out articles from major news media!
Of course, beyond the search keywords mentioned here, I have also successfully achieved top Google search rankings for compound keywords such as "how to purchase" and "how to buy".
Now, in the case of "Shichaoji," I can positively control the search results (SERPs) by freely adjusting the hashtags set in my note articles from here on out. However, I do not actively disclose this method, so if you are interested, please read the article {Nobody knows! Nobody is doing it! [Shichaoji-style] note hashtag free control SEO} thoroughly.

The value of top search rankings through SEO
Unfortunately, note creators are generally people who do not understand the value of SEO, but when you can achieve top search rankings with SEO, monetization on note becomes easy.
This is because by taking a bird's-eye view of search keywords, the attributes and needs of readers who visit note articles from search engines become clearly visible.
Taking this article as an example, since I know that people visit the "Shichaoji" note using the search keyword "BTC Ordinal NFT," I can expect solid sales that meet the search keyword demand for "BTC Ordinal NFT" by, for example, introducing paid notes that summarize NFT brand information that only I know, or Kindle publications.
In fact, the reason why this month's sales have reached an all-time high as of the middle of the month is that multiple articles related to tax saving and blue tax returns have achieved top search rankings for various search keywords, and those articles are creating a smooth flow to the article {A thorough explanation of tax saving measures for sole proprietors (freelancers) and how to file a blue tax return without wasting money!}!
For those new to online business reading this, I think it might be a bit of a hurdle to suddenly start selling your own products or services, so let's start by placing Amazon Associate links to books related to search keyword demand (I would really like to place Google AdSense ads, but unfortunately, they cannot be used on note).
Taking this article as an example, by obtaining and posting Amazon Associate links to NFT-related books, clicks and referral fees will be recorded little by little at a certain rate.
Rarely, I see creators who use note as an SNS media for interaction purposes, but who thoughtlessly post Amazon Associate links in the articles they publish. Not only do they not achieve any results, but from the perspective of their interaction partners, it's just "annoying and troublesome," so let's stop doing such absurd things.
Just like Google AdSense, Amazon Associate links are (basically) meant to be clicked by first-time visitors, not something that makes interaction partners feel unnecessarily obligated to "buy from this link because they always take care of me," which is bordering on a violation of the terms of service.
First of all, please consider that sales are a direct reflection of the value you provide (by thinking this way, a consciousness to fundamentally improve your own note will be born).
The reason your note sales are not growing is that you are swallowing the random information of people who do not understand business, and your note is heading in the wrong direction while skipping what you should be doing.
No matter how hard you try with "mutual follows" or "mutual purchases & mutual recommendations" on note, your sales will not grow at all, and it is a simple story that it will end with "Yes, it's over" after enjoying a certain amount of interaction, because (by relying only on these techniques) your note is not providing value.
Seriously, stop following the pathetic customs of the note village forever (I think this is the fault of stubborn old-timer noters who say "note should be like this!"), and let's start thinking about things properly with your own head!
No matter how much you try this and that only within note, the active user volume of note itself is sparse to begin with, so sales will not grow as you expect.
In fact, creators who are earning a lot on note are those who are using note strictly as a payment platform, and they are securing traffic from outside of note.
The note media can only truly benefit from the note.com domain if you use it as a blog media rather than as a social media platform.
By continuing to provide value rather than just writing a self-indulgent diary, you will eventually gain not only fan readers but also recognition from the Google search engine, just like the 'Shichaoji' note. By connecting traffic flows from multiple high-ranking search articles, it becomes easy to monetize in a versatile and comprehensive way.
Readers from search engines are '1 view' from new potential customers, not '1 view' from acquaintances or friends in your social circle. Can you understand the difference in the value of this '1 view'?
Whether you use note as a diary for memories or as a self-media platform that generates assets 'automatically, for free, and continuously' is decided by your operational policy right here and now.
