Questions I have about dream interpretation (Note: very dirty)

Hello, or good evening, this is Sekitou.

This time, there will be a hell of a lot of poop talk, pun intended. Please be warned. Now, as of right now, I have written articles about two impressive dreams I had while sleeping.

Since I often have dreams like this, I look into dream interpretation quite a bit. However, I also have doubts about that dream interpretation. A common one is dreaming of poop means your financial luck will improve.

Should I eat poop?

It's not about whether this financial luck is correct or not, but rather, I think there are people who are prone to dreaming about poop and those who are not. Dreaming of eating poop is considered a very lucky dream, but the probability of dreaming about eating poop must be quite different between someone who eats poop as a hobby and someone who doesn't. That's just my imagination, though.

If you don't have a hobby of eating poop, I feel like the probability of having such a dream is about 0.00001%, but if you do have a hobby of eating poop, the probability seems like it would be around 0.1%.

I only check dream interpretation on the internet and am not an expert, so I don't know if the financial luck improvement is true. But, if dreaming of eating poop makes your financial luck super hot, then wouldn't eating poop on a regular basis become a shortcut to winning a large lottery prize?

I've digressed a little... or rather, gone off track, but what I want to say is "Aren't there individual differences in the motifs that appear in dreams and their meanings?".

I have almost never had a dream about a cat, but

You who are looking at this poop-covered article, do you like cats?

I have never owned a cat and I don't intend to because I can't take responsibility for a life, but I like cats. I often search for "fluffy cat" on YouTube (fluffy = soft, fluffy).

Since I like fluffy things, I often watch videos of long-haired cats.

Regardless of that, the probability of a cat appearing in a dream might not be that different between a huge cat lover who owns a cat and a cat hater who seems to hate cats (there is no difference in them being familiar animals).

But I think the meaning of the cat in the dream is different.

Dream interpretation of cats is said to have meanings such as freedom, women, and money.

Black cats are said to be a symbol of good luck, but are they also a symbol of good luck for people who hate cats? Isn't it more natural to think that they appear in dreams as a symbol of misfortune?

Let me be clear, I am not denying dream interpretation itself.

I believe there is some kind of meaning to it. But don't you think the meaning changes depending on conditions such as the person's personality, preferences, hobbies, and past experiences?

If you Google it, tons of sites explaining dream interpretation will come up.

"This dream means this," they say, but I question whether it's okay to uniformly assert "this is what it means" without knowing the person's background.

As I wrote in the dream about eating poop above, the ease with which a subject appears in a dream also seems to have significant individual differences, doesn't it?

By the way, don't you think it would have been better to just talk about cats from the beginning instead of talking about poop?
