In the second episode, the village where the protagonist Koichiro and his friends live is attacked by a group of bandits.
I think many people were reminded of the people of Venezuela, whose peaceful lives were stolen by military attacks, by this scene.
"What is this!"
The scene where Koichiro wails while holding the body of a fellow peasant was heart-wrenching. His older brother Tokichiro, who appears before his despairing younger brother, says:
Become a samurai, Koichiro!
With these words, Koichiro solidifies his resolve to live as a warrior. The scene where he watches the rising sun with his family was one that foreshadowed the full-scale beginning of the story (see the header image).
The subtitle for the next episode is "The Eve of the Decisive Battle." Will this lead to the "Battle of Okehazama," which also became the catalyst for Oda Nobunaga's great leap forward?
