A Sweet Scent Filling the Air | Kazemakase Literature Club
That kiss was as melting and sweet as nectar.
The kiss exchanged with you, the one I love, from the lips that usually eat food, is wrapped in a sweetness that drifts from somewhere.
My consciousness, swaying in ecstasy, feels as if it is no longer standing anywhere in this world.
Drowning in waves of happiness, time itself seems to melt away, passing in the blink of an eye.
At some point, that sweet, melting kiss begins to take on a defined shape.
Lip to lip.
The difference in temperature.
The weight of just overlapping.
The colors of the vividly bloomed flowers gradually begin to fade.
Tick-tock, even time itself makes a hard, clicking sound.
The sweet scent vanishes.
Waking from the dream, my feet touch down upon the world.
I take a step, then another, pressing firmly into the ground.
Seeds fall from the withered flowers.
From there, the seeds slowly sprout again, forming the next buds.
The growing vines wrap around my legs, my stomach, and my back, gently tightening around my chest.
A time of impatience begins, where bitterness and sweetness mingle.
Look, it has started to smell.
The eyes that gaze, the hands that touch, the moment my feet leave the world—
A sweet scent filled the air from our lips.
Thank you for reading.
