Defeated by the sweet scent of panda-yaki
A good smell is truly unfair. It has enough destructive power to blow away the strength of one's willpower in just a single breath.
For example, when you get off at Okachimachi Station. You go down the stairs, step out onto the street, and walk a little further, and that sweet, gentle, and savory scent drifts over you.
Yes, panda-yaki!
It should always be there, but for some reason, there are only certain days when I notice it. But once I notice it, that's it—there's no escaping it...!
My heart is gently pulled toward that fluffy, sweet scent. Even if I've decided, 'I want to lose weight this summer! I won't buy sweets!', I end up losing if I'm not careful.
The scent of them being freshly baked is just too good.
Before I knew it, five slightly warm pandas were looking at me from inside the paper bag I was holding. They seem to be smiling somewhat apologetically, but you guys are the ones to blame.
Actually, I've eaten them many times, so I know they aren't incredibly delicious. Of course, they aren't bad, but honestly, I think, 'Is this it?'
And yet, I end up buying them again!
Foolish! I never learn! It's force majeure!
I think it's not that I want a freshly baked snack, but that I'm buying that 'Wow!' excitement I feel when my heart is carried away by that scent.
That momentary sense of exhilaration. That moment of relaxation where I can think, 'Maybe today will be a good day.' I feel really happy during that time when I get a gentle feeling along with the slightly sweet scent.
And so, today again, I lost to the panda-yaki in Okachimachi.
But that's fine. In fact, it's better that way.
A smell is truly unfair.
And losing to it is also a little bit happy.
By the way, I like the plain ones.
Two is enough for me to eat. lol

Please do, by all means.
