Reunion with 6 professional moms raising multiple children @ Royal Park Hotel
It had been a super long time since I last saw the 6 of us from our group of comrades—a group of
8 people I met after turning 40 (6 of whom are professionals* who run their own offices, hold multiple outside directorships, appear in the media, or have published multiple books).
6 of us reunited. It was super long overdue! 🎶🎶
*1 Certified Public Accountant, 2 Tax Accountants, 1 Administrative Scrivener, 2 Social Insurance Labor Consultants
Initially, a conversation started about the two of us—myself and a CPA I'm also friends with in another group—meeting up, and then we decided to reach out to this group too ✊️.
2 to 5 years since we last met!!!!!
By the way, I was the organizer.
Everyone is a high-achiever in the eyes of society,
raising multiple children and mostly the same age ♬
. They are the people I finally found who share a similar balance in how they work 🍒. A precious connection where we can be our
true selves together.
(I couldn't find anyone like this when I was a corporate employee... I have a professional qualification myself, but I don't really use it for work.)
This group isn't made up of 'mom friends' or professional connections; we have no conflicting interests, and our
common ground is...
1. Raising multiple children (2-3 kids) 2. Economically
independent 3. Most are the
same age, with some within ±2 years.
By the way, we've never met with our kids in tow~ In other words, we are definitely not 'mom friends'.
As we approach our 50s, we chose this place because we could use welfare discounts with conditions like
seated, all-you-can-drink, city center, and a hotel.
Royal Park Hotel's Symphony
The space was roomy, and they even
extended our all-you-can-drink time by about an hour and a half 👏. Such great service ◎. For some reason, they were
tolerant of our noisy gathering of middle-aged women—it was
spacious, kind, and comfortable! We were definitely a noisy bunch of customers, though...
A fun time of updating each other on our lives and chatting away. I didn't tell them my pen name, but I did come out about
using my skills to explore new things and
publishing on Kindle as a personal project. (Since they think I'm just a cozy/laid-back?
office worker lol, they seemed to have a positive impression of me creating things myself and moving forward through trial and error)
Some of them have even been attending (or attended) graduate school while we haven't seen each other.
The space at the Royal Park is... has a Showa-era vibe

The meal was...

for 3 people each
served family-style

Showa-era feel in the bottom right too🎀
After the meal, at the top image photo spot... we decided to take some pictures📸. At the accountant's suggestion, we suddenly had a
role-play time🕙️ lol. We looked back over our shoulders
like beauties, decided on a pose to do together, and stared with a straight face
into the distance. We were dead serious about coordinating as a group of six for a fun
group photo session.
We were good sports and took photos in various scenes🎶 and had a blast the next day
sharing the photos↗
(We show our faces when we meet under our real names lol)
I was super refreshed~💮
By the way, everyone is dedicated to gourmet food... Here are some past articles~ (there are others too)
↑I organized this one too ↓This one is by one of the tax accountants
I hope we can have all 8 of us together next time🌟
