Once upon a time, in a village nestled in the mountains, there lived a hardworking boy.

Every day, the boy would till the fields, read books, and live a quiet life.

Seeing his way of life, the villagers would say, "The phrase 'working in the sun and reading in the rain' was made for that child."

One summer day.

When the boy went to the mountain pass to gather firewood, a heavy rain began to fall.

Then, a little bird that calls the rainflew around in circles in the sky, gently moistening the entire mountain.

When the rain stopped, strangely enough, a large mountain pass where the rainbow archesappeared across the pass.

At the foot of the rainbow, something round and glowing had fallen.

"This is... the moon."

As the boy gently picked it up, he realized it was a treasure that only the child who picked up the mooncould possess, having spilled down from the night sky.

That night, there was no moon in the sky.

The villagers were at a loss.

However, the boy did not hesitate to let go of the treasure.

Returning to the rainbow pass, the little bird spread its wings.

The moon floated up into the sky and returned to its original place.

The light of the full moon illuminated the entire village, and both the rice and vegetables shone like gold.

Seeing this, God said,

"To those who can let go of what they desire, I shall grant an even greater harvest."

Ever since then, the village has never known a lack of bountiful harvests, and it is said that the little bird that calls the rain and the mountain pass where the rainbow arches are still talked about today as places that bring happiness.
