Self-Introduction and Sitemap: A Concise Gateway to 'Me'
Greetings
Thank you for stopping by.
I'm Kirin Kiki, and I simply love books.
The 'Navigation' post pinned to the top is quite long,
as it goes into great detail about who I am.
Here, I have put together a more compact version of:
Who I am (Self-Introduction)
Where to start reading (Sitemap)
I hope you will take a look at whatever interests you.
I would be delighted if you did.
Self-Introduction
About Me
My name is Kirin Kiki.
I am a librarian working at a public library and a web writer.
I love books so much that I live my life using 'words' as my guide.
Aiming to be told that my writing is 'heartwarming,'
I write essays that soften the hearts of my readers just a little bit.
If I had to describe myself in ten characters—
'A librarian who loves books, her daughter, and idle musings.'
That is how I am:
someone who cherishes and writes about books, family, and daily life.
About My Family
I live with my husband and my daughter, born in 2022.
Living with a husband who has a strong AT field and a daughter who charges ahead,
I write about our lively days as 'daily essays' on note.
'A working mom's dream is to be the one to say 'Welcome home.'
With that feeling in mind, as I go back and forth between work and parenting,
I am currently searching for the 'best I can do right now.'
Things I Love
Favorite book: 'Momo' by Michael Ende
Favorite picture book: 'The Little House' by Virginia Lee Burton
Favorite movie: 'Interstellar'
Music: I'm tone-deaf, but I love listening. I'm a clumsy enthusiast when it comes to piano.
As long as I have books, stories, and some music and snacks to go with them, I'm generally happy.
